I love being a member here! With the exception of one staff member the entire staff is friendly and great! The general manager Amber does a fantastic job here as do all of the employees! It's always clean too! I love it here especially the pool!

Danielle in aquatics is very unprofessional, unreliable takes weeks just to get a phone call back. Calls my wife at last minute to confirm classed she tells Danielle let me call you right back and she tries to call back less than 5 minutes later and can't get through just to call my wife this morning to tell her classes are full after we have been waiting months for this.

The instructors are friendly welcoming and always willing to help. I have a disability that sometimes interferes with my ability to understand instructions. Especially when referring to left right up down forward backwards. Never have I felt judged or uncomfortable they make me feel comfortable being “a part” of the groups.

Met new people and have made friends. I love the Health & Wellness staff. They are very friendly, informative, supportive, upbeat, great encourages. I especially like that there are activities and programs for every age, and even if you have some disabilities. I always feel encouraged and good about myself when I leave there.

My local YMCA is incredible! Offering so much to so many. The location is perfect, the facilities are always clean and the staff is absolutely amazing! Always willing to help with anything at any time. Dave has been very instrumental in my work out times, helping me with proper form & advice. His know is amazing. Every time I walk in I see our awesome older generation having so much fun with games & working out. This is truly an incredible organization. Thank you so very much for all you do for us and our community.

Please install ceiling fans in the GYM! The air circulation is POOR and the a/c does not accommodate the gym area. PLEASE! All machines including free weights need maintenance so they are safe, clean and operate properly and smoothly. Thanks!

I only wish I had joined sooner. I look forward to my visits. The staff are friendly, the trainers are knowledgeable and the faculties and equipment are excellent. There appear to be programs and activities for all age groups and most interests. The Hernando Y is a fine asset to the community.

Love going there. Plenty of work out equipment and plenty of classes. Only complaint is not always clean in showers and bottom of pool isn't always clean.

Very much love this place.the staff is always super friendly and willing to help when they can.i spend an hour or so in the gym at least 3 days a week and every time i go, i’m greeted with a very warm, family-like atmosphere.instructors are always glad to help you and give you advice for workouts, and they’re super easy to talk to.also really supportive when results start showing from gym time!

super accommodating for income, as well.my family’s had membership since the summer, and we recently got a better plan for our financial status that works out great.this branch has quickly become my #1 place to work out.i love the family environment of the place, and all the extra things they bring into memberships.the staff works hard to keep this location clean and open for everyone.it’s an amazing place for fitness and lifestyle change.:)

I’ve been going to this Y for about 3 years now.when jonathan ran the aquatics the water was ALWAYS a wonderful 86-88.never a problem.now all the sudden it’s barely 85.there’s many of us who have chronic diseases and can only swim for our exercises.i’ve complained before and this is still going on.many of us who used to swim in the pool everyday no longer go.the Y was all of our fun, interesting and favorite place to be and now it seems no one cares.
