Yokohama Sushi East - Federal HWY reviews
18I really hate to do this, but the lady was just not the best and you could tell she just hated being there. I felt rushed trying to decide on what food and they CHARGED for sauce. I would have never ate the sauce if I knew they were going to charge me. $. 80 cents for a thing of eel sauce. Charge more for your food if you have to charge for sauces. Or dont give that much to customers. Things like that just ruin the whole experience. The food is making my stomach hurt.
Ordered bunch of rolls online for scheduled take out and they were late by 30 minutes. However, sushi quality
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! This place scammed us.first of all we waited over an HOUR for our sushi to come and it was less the mediocre. The fish tasted like it has been sitting out for hours and was not served like they told it was. Automatically tipped over 10$ even though we were not a party of 5 or more. This place is ridiculous and completely not understanding. It needs to be inspected for parasites in their sushi and shut down because it was so awful. My recommendation maybe spend 2 more dollars to get actual food that tastes good because even though it’s cheap it clearly shows. Super unhappy and I will never give my business again. If I could give negative stars I would.
Were late by 30 minutes for scheduled take out. However, great sushi, price/quality one of the best in town.
Sushi was fine. Nothing really noteworthy about it. However the service was pretty bad. My family and I arrived as they opened and were the first customers there. The server I guess was late to work since only the cook was there so we had to wait for the server to arrive. Then when they did, had to wait an extra 10min as they got ready. Eventually we started getting ignored for the other customers and to go orders that came in after us. Other tables were getting appetizers or refills on drinks before us. Ended up being there for a little over 90min just for 6 rolls and an order of edamame. I know it takes time to prepare dushi especially with one chef, but the fact that other rolls were coming for other tables that came after we had ordered is where my frustration comes in. Service was terrible and the food did not make up for it.
I love when I visit my daughter and she takes me here. The happy hour beer and sake special don't hurt either. Good prices
Horrible service. Me & husband go there many times and they always charge the tips 6 dollar automatically and then they again give blank space for tips.seriously? And the lady server she had a bad attitude and so rude.she also said that if ‘’we are not agree to give tips as much as she wanted never come here’ such a mean women.she is just insane
Hello, this is my second time experience with this restaurant and it was not good, i ordered 2 sushi rolls 1 crunch salmon $10 & JB Tempura $12, both came super big (not traditional sushi roll size) super greasy because they are fried however it had a lot of oil.the only thing I liked was the Eel sauce! Really bad.
Underwhelmed by the salmon skin roll. I could taste that the oil from the deep fryer was not fresh, and the pieces of salmon skin seemed more like an afterthought than the main ingredient in the roll. It seemed to have odd ends of the salmon's skin that were random fried bits from a few different fish, different fry times and none of them crunchy. Salmon skin rolls should be meaty, crunchy strips of skin.
This entire order was horrific. The shrimp in my roll was undercooked and the stir-fry had an enormous amount of oil dripping from the spoon when scooped.
I love the the spicy crab sushi burrito’s (with wasabi mayo or ginger sauce) they’re so good.
This place is filthy and discusting. And they are liars. DO NOT PATRONIZE THEM. If i could give them zero stars I would.
This is my favorite sushi restaurant in South Florida! They have good quality sushi rolls for an affordable price. The service is usually quick and the servers are friendly. Definitely recommend.
I got the fantasy roll and im so glad i did its so tasty and filling that i could not finish it
Been coming here for a few years it’s my favorite place in boca.very affordable sushi during happy hour.
In the mood for sushi, my husband and I stopped in for lunch on a week day. They were super busy with orders but the waitress came to us right away. She recommended the spicy tuna appetizer and she was to right. A portion of delicious tuna topped with avocado with homemade chips. Yum! My husband ordered the sushi/ sashimi sample. All the fish was incredibly fresh and tasty
For what it is this place is 10/10 haha. I always go for happy hour. Their food is great, their prices are great and even tho they can be busy and service can vary it’s understandable for how busy it can get at times and for the size of the place.
Staff was nice. The sushi was very subpar for being close to the ocean. The tuna was not fresh at all and the mochi was frozen. I personally would not go back.
