Yoon C. Nofsinger, MD, Tampa FL

After 9 days of suffering with an acute nasal drip, and going elsewhere for treatment without any positive results, a family member recommended Dr. Nofsinger. By the end of the 9th day she performed a miracle; the dripping was contained and felt I had my life back. Knowledge is power and she has it in spades. Truly pleasant bedside manner. I can see why she is so loved by her staff. Blessings to all and thank you.

I got there at 2: 40pm, was officially checked in by Lalie at around 3: 05pm. There ended up being approximately 5-6 other patients that not only checked in after me, but ended up being seen before me.
At around 3: 45pm, I went to the window and asked Lalie if I would be called to the back anytime soon. She and her assistant were finally able to get me seen a few minutes later.
Now, to Dr. Nofsinger. I had been priced at the cost of the visit plus wax investigation/removal. She found a fluid block instead and mentioned that the hearing loss could be resolved by inserting a drain tube that would remain in place for upwards of a year and that I would experience immediate loss of hearing relief. She then said that she could do it today since there was another Dr there that could either assist or perform the procedure altogether.
She and the intern left the room to where a few minutes later, a different tech came in stating at least a $30 or more charge would be applied for a hearing check. I told her that I was told that by Dr Nofsinger that I could be billed for that as well as for the tube procedure. She abruptly left and then another tech came in to advise that I would get a credit for the earwax removal and be charged the extra difference for the hearing test instead. I said well what about the tube insertion? She said that the ear tube insertion would have to be scheduled for another day and that I wouldn't be able to be billed for the hearing test or for the ear tube insertion.

She left the room, I ended up leaving the office.

Horrific experience. Dr Nofsinger has the drive within her to only nickel and dime a patient and has no concern for the patient beyond that. She's horrible, and it will be my goal to advise those that would ever ask me for an ENT, to steer clear of this woman.

She was pretty quick and thorough.
Wanna put tubes in my ears? I don't know.

Was in for a routine ear cleaning. Where most doctors would put in drops to loosen she did not. It was painful and when I mentioned the ear drops she said my wax was soft enough. Not a good bedside manner.

This Doctor has been my saving Grace. I became her patient after several ENT doctors and surgery for removing nasal polyps. She is the best in Tampa from my personal experience. Not only has she helped shrink my polyps and clear up my allergies, she also discovered early a small cancer tumor in my throat performed surgery and removed it. She suggested Radiation treatment and I’ve been told I have a 98% chance of total clearance of cancer. I highly recommend Dr. Yoon Nothsinger to anyone who has ENT problems. I’m a tough patient I only seek the best Doctors and she is the best. Steve Keirn

Terrible doctor. So unprofessional. Dr. No kicked my daughter out of the office and canceled her surgery JUST because she wanted to know her options in the event of a post surgery emergency. NEVER GO HERE.

If I could give zero stars I would. Probably the worst doctor I’ve ever come across in my life. I don’t know if she’s in this profession for money but it is clear she does not care about her patients at all. She is impossible to reach and her medical assistant stephanie is even more impossible to reach. You won’t hear from them ever after getting an appointment with them. What kind of doctor does not even check up on the patients after prescribing medication or a serious procedure? Doesn’t even look you in the eyes when talking to you, just wants to make the appointment as quick as possible—in and out, 0 respect for patients and 0 manners at all. Florida ENT seriously needs to look into how she cares for her patients because according to the reviews, I’m not the first one to have this problem.
