Yummy Yummy Caribbean Food, Orange Park FL

I ordered two meals through DoorDash. I received one meal and when I called. I was told that the other meal was still at the restaurant. After much back and forth, the woman said they would deliver it "later" because they were "very busy". I never received the food or a follow up. I called today, almost 24 hours later and this crazy woman started yelling at me in creole after I told her that I would not be driving to pick up the food that I paid delivery for. I paid $60.38 and received some dried out turkey. She kept saying humans make mistakes. Yes, but take responsibility for your mistakes and fix them. Don't make excuses! I wish them luck. They're going to need it. God will not prosper you if you don't do right. I am over blessed and it's because I strive to do the right thing and don't make excuses for my mistakes. I fix them. I read the reviews and one person had mentioned that the chicken wasn't good. How do you mess up chicken? I should have followed my gut after reading the other bad reviews. This wasn't a mistake, it's a habit

Visited for the first time and let me tell you I will be back. My son ate all the food and was wanted more. We ordered diri djon and poule en sauce and 2 chicken pattie. It’s all gone no left overs left.

Wanted to try something new so I stopped here. I wanted curry chicken but was told they didn’t have any. So I asked for jerk chicken instead with a side of rice, Mac n cheese, and plantains. Lady told me they didn’t have Mac n cheese either. So I settled for a salad. Upon first glance, the food looked pretty good. Jerk chicken was good and was given a good amount of chicken. The rice was good also. The plantains were very bland. Not sweet at all which the menu claimed it to be sweet plantains. Wasn’t very impressed and for the price, I expected much more. Unfortunately, I probably won’t be eating there again.

Yummy Yummy is the best haitian food spot, hands down. Fresh food, many options to choose from, and you get your money’s worth!

First time at this location. Met the owner, she was very wonderful and pleasent to have a conversation with. I had for lunch the white rice, beans and legume.it was fantastic.i enjoyed my time there and my conversation with the owner, i will be back again at this location.

The menu needs updating. I don’t see what I ordered listed here. However, I ordered 2 combos, Black rice (Djon Djon) and Oxtail, which came with fried plantains and cabbage; 1 portion of legume (legim) which came with fried plantains and, cabbage which totaled 73$. Food was excellent, however the wait was long.

This place needs to be shut down.nasty inside.rude workers.disgusting food need I say more. Never again.

Ladies are nasty, rude, can not get orders right, burnt mac n cheese, do not waist your money nor time here

Best Caribbean cuisine in the Jacksonville area. Reasonable prices, and the owner is very nice & friendly.

The owners are amazing! Very sweet, best Haitian patty. I can’t wait to try the pate kode. The turkey and griot is delicious also. I encourage all of Jacksonville to try this place.

Generous portions of deliciousness! We ordered jerk chicken and curry chicken and dined in. Service was amazing and food was excellent! Will be returning customers

My husband and I ate here and this place has the absolute best Haitian food we’ve ever had. We had a great experience. We ordered the Tasso Cabrit (fried goat) The staff is very friendly and welcoming. This was a pretty chilled spot to eat, very clean. The price is a bit too high for only 2 people eating which is the only reason I gave a 4 star, but considering the portions that they give to you are big and so tasty it’s hard to not want to come back. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting some delicious Haitian food and great service to come eat here

The absolute worst experience of a Caribbean restaurant I have ever had! My curry chicken was swimming in oil! Not exempting my plantains tasted and felt like cardboard! As a decendant of a Jamaican family as wells as a person who frequently partakes in eating food made by my family members of the Jamaican culture. I am ashamed to have eaten such an atrocious excuse for curry chicken especially from a restaurant that claims to be a Caribbean restaurant! Especially for $25 a plate! This wasn't even close to worth it! Thank you for the clogged arteries, constipation and waste of time!

Wonderful place to enjoy a Caribbean meal. Staff was very hospitable, and professional place was clean. We arrived after flying in from the airport so we were hungry and they delivered. We had fish, and chicken and their ginger tea. Very delicious

Best haitian restaurant! Absolutely love their legume! Their rice is amazing! I love the people behind this place! Great food and always great service! Their legume is what keeps me coming back for more!

It was what I have been missing no other restaurant can compare the flavors are on point the rice was perfect.
