Z Asian - Vietnamese Kitchen reviews
20 We recently had a delicious dinner at Z Asian after reading 4+ star reviews! The decor is cool with a chill NYC vibe.
Each dish ordered had its own unique fresh savory flavor, while looking elegant to the eye.
For us, for sure, once a week. Every out of town guests will be visiting our new fav.
It did become a bit busy Sat night, both servers were zooming. The food wait was not an issue & every dish was fresh hot out of the kitchen. With their growing popularity indeed I imagine be hiring more staff.
Overall a 5+ congratulations to the Chef
Pho special at $10 for the win! Also fresh rice noodles which are $3 more, however worth it!
I really enjoyed the aromatic taste of my duck noodle soup. The noodles were delish and the duck was super tender and fell off the bone.
My mum ordered the lemongrass tofu soup and that was also just amazing taste.
Service was also lovely and shout-out to Po for keeping our water glasses filled and getting that extra condiment plate.
A great addition to the Orlando restaurant
Americanize-Vietnamese food to me.
Never walked into a Pho restaurant playing jazz music. Was nice to try but not a huge fan. I still like the traditional style. Enjoy old school.
Their Pho was great. Huge disappointment on Spring rolls. They put like can bamboo in them. Tasted kind sour. Totally ruined the flavor
There were Only two servers in a restaurant during dinner time. It’s difficult to get their attention. I had to walk over to them to ask for napkins because they didn’t give us any throughout the whole time.
Surprisingly, the server was kinda stingy with giving out napkins too. Table of 7 people, only gave 6.
Truly an amazing spot. Have had many dishes here and every single one is a 10/10. Truly an authentic and amazing experience. My bf is from Vietnam and he swears by this place, says it’s the best Vietnamese place in Orlando. The service is always great as well, definitely recommend!
This restaurant has amazing food. The grilled squid was my favorite. Definitely will be back
We had an incredible experience at this Orlando restaurant! It marked our first venture into both Michelin dining and Vietnamese cuisine. The dishes, particularly the "Hủ Tiếu" and "Bún Bò Huế" soups, left us enamored. Mo, our server, exhibited exceptional hospitality despite our late arrival. He not only answered all our inquiries but also provided delightful recommendations. Without a doubt, we highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!
So excited they’re open for lunch on the weekend again! The food here is phenomenal. If you don’t know what to choose, Moh will make fantastic recommendations for you! The mussels are my favorite— I have to order them every time. The lamb chops were amazing, the pho had the best broth I’ve had ever, and the rice flour on egg was a nice surprise. Make sure you try the lychee smoothie! Everything we have tried has been of outstanding quality and Moh always gives impeccable service. I just wish it was closer to my house!
Foood drink and service are spot on. Muhammad is the best. Can’t wait to see what they do with the renovation.
Such wonderful customer service & tasty food! I especially loved the grilled squid & the crispy mini pancakes
I really loved the grilled squid and mini pancakes! The staff had great service and Mohammed was super friendly
Such good food! Definitely recommend the grilled squid & the mini pancakes were so yummy! The pho was great comfort food. The staff was also very friendly and helpful!
Walked in with a friend to have a good time at lunch, and the waiter Mohammed treated us so poorly we had to leave the place. While taking order, he was talking about showing me the door. Not friendly at all. This is probably a family business, and that is why he gets away with treating people this way.
I made a reservation for a large party and Z Asian was so accommodating. We were given great service and incredible food. Do yourself a favor and get the pan fried rice flour.
I'm old enough to remember when the first Vietnamese restaurant opened up in Orlando and my father, having spent a lot of time in Vietnam in less than ideal circumstances, being so excited to introduce the teenage me to the fabulous cuisine. In the time since, we've been loyal to another restaurant which I shall keep nameless for the sake of this review.
When I heard that a newer Vietnamese restaurant, Z-Asian, had received the coveted Michilin Bib Gourmand, I was intrigued to say the least and quite excited to try it; Magical Dining made this venture an inexpensive foray.
My first thought was that it was certainly the most elegant Vietnamese restaurant I've been to and, comparatively, had a very "fine dining" feel to it. The service was outstanding and matched the fine dining vibe I experienced upon entering the lovely restaurant.
With the very the first bite of the food I was absolutely FLOORED as I had never experienced Vietnamese food of this quality! Much like the restaurant and service, the food had a very fine dining quality to it and was, without question, the best Vietnamese food I've ever had! As amazing as the food was, it was also quite reasonably priced with everything in the attached picture being roughly $50.
I've since been to this incredible restaurant twice and both times the food and service were outstanding! Z-Asian is not just the best Vietnamese restaurant in the area, it's Vietnamese food at an entirely different level! It's well worth a visit, I'll be returning as often as possible, and, perhaps I'll see you there. Enjoy!
Staff are welcoming, cordial, accommodating and attentive. Place is warm and clean. From appetizers (grilled squid & mini shrimp pancakes) to the sirloin steak Pho were flavorful. I recommend to try them!
Server was excellent. Bok Choy, Scallops, and Squid were extremely good. Pho and duck soup were outstanding.
This is my second time coming to this restaurant and each time I leave with a happy stomach and a laugh. The service is amazing and the food is not only delicious but doesn’t take long before it’s served!
I recommend their Chinese food selection, delicious, although a little pricey. Atmosphere and service is great though!
Fantastic options outside of the typical Vietnamese staples you find everywhere. Highly recommend the street food items!
Addendum 10/20- Manager reached out to me personally to apologize and correct the situation. They really went above and beyond to make up for thus inconvenience. I was impressed with this quality of service.
Restaurant closed for renovations but kept online ordering on. I ordered and was charged for a meal that i was told would be ready at 12pm but arrived to a locked establishment with no one inside. And no one answering phones so i could not even ask for refund. Cant make a judgement on the food, but they did cost me a lot of wasted time on my lunch break from work due to poor management.
