Zappi's Italian Garden, Daytona Beach FL

Avoid this place like the plague. Worst service and was hoping for better food, BUT no the food was terrible. If they were too busy it would be one thing. We had 4 completely different meals and all 4 were terrible. Will NOT go back and I wouldn’t recommend this place if it was the last Italian food in the area.

We had an awesome dinner this evening! Our server Val was the best! She and the hostess made us feel so welcome! They even took time to take photos of us and to serve my dessert with candles my best friend had brought with us to celebrate my birthday. We will definitely go back when in Daytona again!

Food was delicious! If you like real italian and plenty of garlic this is the place to go. Bread was great and cheese ravioli was to die for. Highly recomend.

I'm a Sicilan from Chicago who knows Italian food? This is some of the best Italian food I've had in a long time period.

Very good food, good portions. Service was fantastic and prices are reasonable. Had the cheese ravioli, lasagna, garlic knots and Stromboli. All was fantastic. There is inside and outside seating, we chose inside and it was very clean. The garlic bread was also very good as we had 5 baskets of it. The only small problem was that the ravioli could have been hotter but it wasn't cold it might have cooled down from the sauce on top. Overall great experience.

I was looking for an italian restaurant to go to while on vacation. Zappi’s had the exact atmosphere I was going
for. Just so elegant! The food was out quickly
and our waiter Jerry was awesome! Will definitely be back!

Based on ratings, we chose Zappi’s for dinner and were delighted with every aspect of our experience. Annie, our server, could not have been more helpful or accommodating. The Caesar Salad was delicious, the A La Vodka was top notch. And the bread! Freshly baked with garlic and herbs, it was a show stopper! Additionally, the atmosphere was comfortable and clean with a relaxed, contemporary vibe. Overall, a 10 star experience! When in Daytona, it will top our “where to eat” list.

Wonderful place! Real Italian food… meatballs aren’t frozen “SOY” Balls… Sauce is perfect. Definitely worth going to this Italian restaurant… atmosphere is inviting and staff is superb!

Food was excellent. Service was wonderful. Happened to notice the 2 happy hour signs out front, which had us choose them over Ronin. Turns out the Happy Hour only applies if you sit at the bar. The board is pretty misleading and could be updated to reflect how to actually take advantage of the happy hour. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

Tried for the first time tonight, will not be our last. The restaurant is cozy, the patio dining is on the next level (beautiful). Garlic knots are not to be missed. Delicious, soft knots with the perfect amount of crushed garlic and oil. The red sauce was just right. I had the chicken florentine. It was so good. Wouldn't change a thing, it was better than I hoped. I tasted the pasta with vodka sauce, wow! To top it off the service was perfect from Annie. We will return, we will bring family and friends, and take my word for it.you'll be glad you tried this place. I'm so glad we did.

Very unique spot! Great atmosphere! Awesome menu! Excellent service! Had an appetizer (split), 3 drinks total, 2 dinners and a dessert (split) for less than $100 for 2 people.

Always a favorite when I visit Daytona beach. Good food good service. Especially Annie. Can't wait to come back.

Like being in a street in Italy. Fresh in house made bread, food was wonderful. Best Italian food I have had in a while.

First time at Zappi’s last week on a Wednesday night, the restaurant was super cute & the food was phenomenal I sat at the bar had the Alfredo & an old fashion from the bartender Rob. He was super attentive & sweet. I’ll be back for sure

Notice that the NEGATIVE reviews get RUDE and condescending responses from the OWNER. They are trying to make you think that the problem is the customer. Not true. The food here is not good and their service is awful, too. If they want good reviews, they need to earn them by making better food and being kind and respectful to their customers.
We only went to this restaurant because there were good reviews. Believe the negative reviews - those are the greatest indication of what your experience will be like if you eat here.

BEWARE! Do not believe the good reviews. This place is incredibly overpriced for how bad their food is. They didn’t salt anything, so all of the food was so bland. Their margarita pizza was just cheese pizza with tomato slices & basil on top and it was gross. I’ve never had pizza so bad and it was nothing like a classic margarita pizza. I would have rather eaten at Little Caesars. My friend couldn’t even eat her meal because of how disgusting it was. The seating outside was cute, but the hostess was rude when we requested to sit there. Overall, the service was not great. They messed up our order and our checks. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone and will never return. It was a waste of my time and money.

Went for our friends birthday dinner:) the food, the atmosphere and our waiter Brandon was absolutely phenomenal. 11/10 recommend. The Pride flaming cheese was on fire literally and tastefully.
