They took too long made us set an appointment called us in and workers left us multiple times and was in there for 2hrs with no help and got an attitude when we asked for help. Unbelievable and Horrible Customer Service.

9/23/23 I came here to leave a review only to realize that I’ve already left a review about how disgusting this store is… there’s no organization. The employees are rude & unhelpful. I’m tempted to cancel my iPhone 15 Pro Max order. I had a scheduled time to pick up the item. I got here at my scheduled time and they tell me that doesn’t matter because it’s not ready and I shouldn’t have come here unless I got an email telling me the order was ready… so what was the point of having a pick up time then? The “manager” just keeps repeating himself saying, “our system supersedes any timeframe you choose for a pick up”

This store says it closes at 8pm. However I got there at 7: 30 & a woman at the front door says they are closed & not letting anyone else in. If the store closes at 8 how are y’all cleared out before 7: 30? That sounds like a rule they made up. I haven’t experienced that at any other Apple Store.

Wanted to use a gift card with my purchase and was told by the mangers at the store that Apple gift cards are a scam and therefore they cannot accept it. They said that Apple is aware of the scam and have changed the gift cards. Apple sales and support said otherwise. The Apple Cumberland mall managers are very rude and condescending.

The customer service sucks. You make an appointment and you still have to wait. They are never compassionate or considerate of time of a person that comes in the store.

Customer service was horrible a lot of people standing around and they were very short with answers. They didn’t try to help me with my purchase and just brushed me off I had to end up ordering it online with my phone

This place is “zoo like”! I’ve been waiting 20 minutes just for a pickup… uugghh.it took literally an hour to pick up two computers for a data migration that Apple said, was ready for pick up. I had plenty of questions and there was no one around to answer, and when the girl did come back, she told me that she would have someone help me and no one ever came. Although there were plenty of people working and bringing new products out for purchase, very few people were helping in the pick up area, which was quite bothersome. Apple is surely leaning on being a behemoth of the tech, industry and service is not their strong suit. I have gotten way better service over the phone than I ever have in a physical store.

Update.should have been one star. After my in store visit and they updated my phone.well the phone still sucks. Siri is more unresponsive than ever before
I'm honestly finding more things to hate about the phone. The quality has dropped of this company, and their customer service. They grew too big, and don't care about customer retention. Hope the 800$ was worth losing the customer. Good bye forever apple. _
I regret staying a customer for over a decade.
I hate that I grew up and "they don't make them like they used to"
This is my last Apple product.

I've had my last 2 Apple phones crash in 2 years. I hate this new one, and they couldn't do anything to help since it was outside the miniscule 14 day return window. Ironically It also took 14 days to recover my Apple ID password since my previous phone crashed.
One issue I had was Siri suddenly failing to recognize what I was saying, all they can do is update the software. With previous models she was "hit and miss" now it's "miss and miss" and her interpretation failures range from impressive to embarrassing.

I understand being incredibly strict with company policy, however making an exception for me would have kept me as a customer. Not for nothing, but Apple as a company can afford to, but I guarantee this purchase impacts me more financially. I'm done with iPhone but I would have tried other products.

Here's where they especially screwed up customer service in simple interaction though-.
The customer rep started talking to me about "Accountability". With this new purchase. On the surface level I saw the logic, but they refused to see that I was asking Apple to take accountability over their dwindling quality and sky high rising prices. I am absolutely also referring to accountability of the company for selling reputable products.

For clarification I asked "Really? ZERO accountability? " because they seemed like Apple shouldn't take ANY responsibility for the quality of it's products.

A word of customer service advice- by VERY careful about using the word "accountability", when customer is describing a history of product failures and crashes. Especially if they are saying they no longer plan to buy Apple. This was objectively unintelligent, let alone lacking in any empathy.

2 stars because the employees did seem to try to help, and largely seem empathetic, but the company mission seems to have switched to allow me to be alienated as a customer after purchasing Apple products for 10+ years.

Thank you to the gentleman who said he was sorry I had a history of bad Apple products.

Goodbye Apple.

The absolute WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life.

On August 3, I went in for a battery replacement and waited 3 hours to come back and the representative tell me that my screen went out during repair and I’d have to wait another 3-5 days for the new screen to come in.

On August 6, I received a call and email on notifying me that my parts arrived.

On August 7, I went back in store for the repair of new battery and screen and waited another 2-3 hours only to come back and was notified the repair was unsuccessful and they now had to order me a new phone.

It’s now August 16 and I’m still without a phone so I called the store only for the representative to tell me the order was cancelled because the phone wasn’t picked up in 5 days. I never received a call or email from the store notifying me the phone arrived and for me to come in and get the phone swap.

This is the absolute WORST experience I’ve ever had with Apple. You’re better off troubleshooting virtually with customer service because service and communication at this store is terrible.

Complete waste of time, gas, energy and space!

The store is not busy at all and there are several employees assigned to greeting new customers and doing nothing. Still I have been waiting for more than 15 minutes for the privilege of buying a new Mac with no precise estimate of when someone will be available to help us out. This seems to be a recurring issue at this store based on other reviewers. Come on Apple, you can do better.

This place is too busy on the weekend. Recommend going during the week or purchasing online.

We had an appointment for a repair, our appointment wasn’t honored and we were made to wait well past our appointment time.

I'm not sure why it's my responsibility as a customer to be more pleasant than the employees. And this was not just with one, but two. And besides the interaction, it wasn't until we spoke to someone from Apple over the phone were we provided with all the information we needed to make an informed decision as to the best course of action we needed to take. Based on 2 employees' advice in the store, the best option would have been to wait around for literally 4 hours to be seen. Also, no one looked at the previous notes entered for our case which they quickly pulled up over the phone. Please have some more value for people's time as well as value when you're approached with respect, to be professional enough to reciprocate.

UNPROFESSIONAL! I came here with a and made an appointment for a trade in for the new iPhone 14. We were told the wait would be 15 minutes but we waited more than that, for the girl that was going to take care of us. I went up to her to ask her politely when is it going to be our turn. She was still taking care of the customer, so she said 15 MORE Minutes. We waited about not 15 but 25 minutes I went to ask the girl again. She didn’t look busy at all, standing and laughing unprofessionally with all these employees for the past 10 minutes, so I was confused of why she’s putting us last. When I asked for the 2nd time when is it our turn she said “Your name is next on the list, i know you have been waiting for a while were just waiting for the next person to roll in. If we are next and we were first, why are they waiting for the next person to come? We waited 5 minutes and my mom ask the employee again what’s going on because it has been 45 minutes in total. Her reply was that Apparently there was a “malfunction with the system. ” Which is obviously an excuse because all the other employees were doing fine with they’re customers with no issues. After my mom came back to us and all the employees were all whispering and talking about us very unprofessionally. 3 minutes later a guy came to help us out. They were all just standing there not even doing ANYTHING and honestly just lazy and unprepared. They told 5 more people that came in after us 25 minutes and they STILL got taken care of before us. We’ve been to this Apple Store a few times and each time it was always the same problem. I recommend to go somewhere else. Absolutely ridiculous and rude.

2-1/2 hour wait to get a warranty pair of air pods. It wasn’t even that busy maybe like a handful of people. I’ve never worked in this line of work but I can assume it’s not rocket science to check my warranty and see if the serial numbers match up, get me a new pair of working AirPods and send me on my way.
