I really appreciate the work these guys (and gals) do when I bring my car in. I’m not an auto mechanic but when I get my car fixed, I like to know what all was done and why. These folks do a great job explaining in person and with their digital diagnostic results that you can pull up any time. I recommend Barrett to friends when they have vehicle issues, because they’re local for one, and they’re dependable too

I waited two hours for nothing. I had a appointment for a alignment and before they even did anything, they did a two hour inspection trying to upsell more work. Very disappointed and won't go there again! I never even got my alignment.

I had to have my transmission replaced that was covered by a CarMax warrenty company. Despite numerous problems related to the warrenty company, these guys were great! They kept me informed throughout the process. I love the way that they do the inspection of the vehicle, take pictures of what needs attention or repaired and send all the info in a text message. The staff are very patient and courteous. Will continue to use this shop for all future needs!

By far the best service I have ever experienced! From the call to check hours and availability to updates on what was needed to the follow up call to see how everything was going with vehicle! This will be our new service center FOREVER! Highly recommend!

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS! These people are a dishonest and untrustworthy. They will charge you for new parts and put the old ones back on, replace parts that don't need replacing so they can charge you more, and rig your vehicle to tear up so you'll have to bring it back.

The first time our son went to Barrett Automotive, he came home and was so impressed with their extensive service evaluation! That brought us there to get our vehicle checked out before our trip to Washington DC. The staff was excellent! We left the day before our son did on this trip. Our son went on an errand, when he realized something was wrong! He immediately went to Barrett’s, got there at 5: 15, just as people were starting to close up for the day. Knowing our son was going on a long trip the next day, one guy went for the part and the other guy stayed to start working on the truck to replace a belt! We are so grateful for their caring attitude and highly recommend Barrett’s Automotive!

Professional grade service. Had me diagnosed and repaired in less than 24hrs. They even follow up several days later to make sure you are satisfied with the repair and your automobile running good. Highly recommend

Have taken my car to many mechanics and no one found the actual issues until I took it to Barrett Automotive. Love having digital records of the diagnosis! Everything is looked over with a fine tooth comb, and problems are not just found but anticipated! Absolutely love being able to know what is going on with my car so it can be fixed. Disappointing! Was praying this place would be as honest and wonderful as M&A automotive.not the case! Told me that I needed $2200 worth of work for new battery, new power steering pump, etc. Took it to Honda dealership.nothing was wrong! Barrett also charged me $202 just to assess it! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

After spending a large amount of money and time with an establishment located in Lavonia Ga. I was pleased to find Barrett automotive located in my local area of Toccoa Ga. Service was well explained and fairly priced. Also came with an online screening of your vehicle of what needed to be taken care of next. I highly recommend these guys!

Beware quoted me a price twice the amount of 3 other shops

I called Monday to get a quote to replace a valve cover gasket on a Toyota sequoia was told $450 every other quote was around $225 two hours labor & the part $60

The front desk is professional, courteous and energetic and willing to listen to the customer and offer several solution sets to resolve their automotive needs
