Big Lots, Conyers GA

I choose here over WALMART anyday. Easy in and out, nice items in all sections and guess what prices are just the same Walmart.

I had an order that's due to be dropped off between 9am and 10am. The website says the store opened at 8am so I rush there trying to get my order out in time, to find out that they actually don't open until 9am. I understand store hours changed due to Covid back in 2020, but in 2023 it should be updated on the Website by now. It's cold and raining and I have to wait 30 minutes before I can enter a store that the Website says is open already. It's the principle of the whole thing.

This is an updated review. This is still the closest location to me but their stock is lacking. I guess it's gotten more popular as the area changes. I purchased 6 cases of water when the website said they had 109 cases. When I went to pick up they gave me 3 broken and open cases. I counted the open water they had put in a plastic bag and it was 3 short. I was home at this time and had lugged all this water in my house. I wish they had just cancelled the order or did a partial fill because it was more trouble than it was worth to get it in my car and then in my house. I think I may have to switch stores.

Alright guys! I went here to pick up training pads for our pup. They were out of the Hartz brand and so, I bought these instead. Not a bad deal for 100 pads, versus 65 for $12.

Of course, I picked up a bunch of other things (it's Big Lots). They had so many deals on some really great products (shampoo, laundry soap, skin care, etc). Skipping to my checkout, Ms. Kim was a sweetheart, even though her computer scanner was giving her some trouble. I'm mostly writing this review because of her. She's got a great sense of humor and I'm pretty sure I'll be seeing her again soon. She got me signed up for the rewards program.

Thanks Ms. Kim for being so warm and helpful. People like you are hard to find, especially at retail stores.

Well stocked on MOST necessities. Store clean and has access to sanitizer and wipes for the baskets. Let's not forget the holiday sale and generous discount for essential workers!
Update from a year ago: NOT the friendliest store on the planet like it states when you call! Store associate had a little 'tude' when I called this morning and asked of they had a certain item in the store!

Follow-up from review. Though it is great that this Big Lots have hired new employees, there is a LOT to he desired on customer service! Three stars because the actually had what I was looking for, and they had a good sale on a few items that caught my interest upon entering the store. Minus 1 star because I noticed what u would assume was store security kept showing up wherever I did! I DETEST being looked at as suspect! I am an honest and God-loving and God fearing person who just happens 2b Black with natural hair! Does that make me a theif? Minus another star because the cashier was more than rude! Never greeted me. Never said thank you. And also treated me as suspect when I asked for my military discount! Asked for ID and then asked for my phone number! It only requires a phone number because everything is linked to that! Just barely handed me the receipt and nothing else! Thirdly, which I should remove another star for, the discount coupon from Big Lots email says 10/1/22 thru 10/7/22. Today is 10/7 and the system did not honor the coupon! I hold grudges against businesses who don't treat me with respect, so I will NOT be returning to this store! I'll shop where my business is appreciated

Can fine everything I need in store and the prices are reasonable from foods, Clothing, Furnitures and etc

Today me and my grandmother visited this store, we come here a lot and haven’t ever had a bad experience. Today i bought a couch and was helped by Josh in the furniture area he was very good at multitasking being that there were atleast 4 other people asking questions about the furniture and trying to buy he was also checking out another furniture customer and it was all very smooth for everyone. Everyone seemed attended to by him … he wasn’t leaching either, I’m not sure if they get commission but a couple days earlier we were in here and it was a Caucasian gentlemen who was trying to sell us on a tv stand and he told us there was only 1 left in stock in the back before even checking the stock like as if telling us only 1 is left was going to get us to buy immediately …I’m a sales Rep also & immediately that is a red flag when people don’t double check the inventory and just tell you something of the top. … so we ended up not buying from him.as a sales rep you want people to trust you and like you. He was like able but the sales aspect was lacking.oh & I took one star off for the fact there was a little bird flying around in the entire store.it honestly didn’t bother me but food items are sold here and that seems a bit unsanitary

I always find great stuff in Big Lots, but today was the best. I feel like I found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Thanks!

They're clearance is scrambled in everywhere it makes no sense they have no organization and their staff is slow not helpful and you false advertisement join today and get 15% off and that did not happen so therefore why would I join if I wasn't going to get the 15% off today help me understand

This is the absolute worst Big Lots that I have ever been in! Granted the staff is nice, not their fault. Went to buy a table today. I picked out 4 different tables and they had none “ on stock” My question is why would you even display items if you have none for sale? Total false advertising! Keep those in the back until you actually have the product! One, okay, I get it…. But 4? They lost a $500 sell today to a local furniture store that ACTUALLY HAD THE PRODUCT THAT THEY WERE DISPLAYING! Very disappointed ‘

The woman at the register when I came with my mom was so sweet.you don't find that kind of customer service anymore.we will be back

Love Big Lots. If you don't want to go to Walmart this is the place you should go. Great customer service.

Great place to find deals on items. I found a trash can for a good price and containers for better organization.

Have enjoyed shopping at Big Lots. They have all kinds of merchandise there, even food items, some furniture, clothing. Just have to go there to see what I'm talking about. I plan to keep on going!

This store is awesome! A lot of great deals! The people are very nice! Will shop there more!

Store look like a bomb blew up and the manager wasn't very friendly when asking for assistance
