For anyone in a bind and needing to recover their data fast and ON BUDGET, i HIGHLY RECOMMEND Blizzard Data Recovery. I gave them a call, they walked me through the process, and although I lost a little bit of data, they did recover the vast majority of what was on my hard drive. Thank you guys for your service! I'm telling everyone about you guys!

If there was an option for a 20 star review, that's what I'd give Blizzard Data Recovery.

I reached out to them for an issue with unretrievable (to me) files on a DVD. I spoke with David who explained to that Blizzard doesn't doesn't do data retrieval from DVDs. When I asked him for a recommendation of someone who did and explained the significance of the data (video files of my grandmother and her brother, both who have now passed away), he told me to bring the DVD in, and he'd see what he could do.

My husband took it in the next day, and David recovered the irreplaceable files within a few hours. He did not charge me anything for the service. His kindness means so much to me and my family. If I ever need data recovery in the future, Blizzard Data Recovery will be the first place that I call!

Outstanding customer service! I dropped my mobile external drive and it would not mount and I feared the worst. After a quick call to Blizzard and straight forward explanation of possibilities, I overnighted my damaged drive and 7 days later I had my recovered files (all but 13 of 100K plus). Most local computer guys don't actually have clean room capabilities and can't open the drive themselves. Most send them to Blizzard. Cut out the middle man and their mark-up and go straight to the pros! Can't say enough about the service!

I would best describe both the rapid delivery of services, as well as honesty without hidden fees as top-shelf, 5-star service. Here's what I used Blizzard's services for:

Less than two weeks ago, my relatively new laptop fell to a carpeted floor, landing on the USB drive and breaking it. Unfortunately (and not too smart), I hadn't yet transferred the data to the laptop and it was the only copy I had.

I Googled different services and based on the ratings I saw (and yes, people DO look at them), I contacted them. The turnaround/delivery was first-class and the flat rate for this type of drive/storage was as they stated. No hidden charges or gimmicks. That's what I love about this experience. In a world where we encounter those trying to price-gouge, it didn't happen here. These are good people!

In retrospect, could I have fixed this myself? Maybe, but the risk of damaging the USB and rendering it useless without recovery of data was high enough to play it safe. I recommend the same for all others - go with the professional service and learn from the experience. I shared the experience here because others, like myself, will want to read others' reviews in order to make a decision.

Had a sudden hard drive failure which resulted in the loss of access to years of critical data. Blizzard took my case and restored all the data I needed. They even went back to look for a missing folder, the most critical folder, and recovered it successfully once I was able to communicate to them where to look. They answered my many questions and were quick to respond to my many emails. Top notch customer service, excellent results. Definitely would recommend them for data recovery if your hard drive fails.

Sadly, the data recovery industry is a mostly predatory and opportunistic industry that takes great advantage of the misfortune of good folks. There are many tricks of the trade, i.e. Private data theft, extraordinarily high fees, open ended fees, fee quotes given only after technicians peek at what's on your drive to estimate personal and sentimental value to the point of downright extortion. I could not have been more fortunate to have been recommended to Blizzard Data Recovery. I can say from my experience that Blizzard is none of those things and could not be more transparent, honest, and professional. Their published and reasonable flat rate fees are almost unheard of in the data recovery industry. Blizzard's turn around time was way faster than any other company I interviewed. If I ever have the misfortune of "lost" data again, there is no question of whom I will call. Thanks for everything, Dave!

Amazing Company! Highly Recommended! I sent off my data to another service first and they were trying to price gouge me so I had my thumb drive returned and sent it to Blizzard. Blizzard recovered the data at an amazing value. Very honest and upfront company. Don't use any other service if you need data recovery, use Blizzard!

I went to a local computer repair shop in Northern Kentucky (where I live) when my hard drive died and would not spin. Because the shop doesn't do hard drive recovery of that nature, they immediately recommended Blizzard over any other local recovery services even though it would require shipping down to Georgia. After looking at several of the local places online, my gut told me to follow the recommendation. Upon receiving the hard drive, Blizzard notified me right away and kept me up to date through the quick process. All data has been recovered! I highly recommend!
