Cafe Intermezzo, Atlanta GA

Food and service is always great. I would have given them 5 Stars but the last couple of times it has been hot inside.

This was the worst dining experience I’ve had.
I came to Sunday brunch with my two friends and everything was awful. We ordered two different speciality lattes and they both came out tasting just like plain coffee. The cheese on the Truffle Cheese Melt was dry and the not all the way melted. The avocado toast was burnt and minimal, the eggs were tasteless. The Rosemary Potatoes were not seasoned. The server tried her best but it was obvious that she was struggling to keep up with her section with no assistance. This was not up to standards of what dining out should be. Very disappointed.

It was by accident that my wife and I decided to eat at Cafe Intermezzo. It was fantastic. Our server, Isis, was quick, efficient, and very nice. She provided us with suggestions when we asked (each suggestion was spot on). My wife got an eggs benedict and I got Belgian waffles. Perfect way to end our vacation.

We'll be back our next visit to Atlanta.:)

Just celebrated my 31st b day their and I must say the food was really good and the atmosphere was gorgeous but the staff could use a lil more training but overall had a great experience

Great tasting food, definitely not short on flavor!
Even got the caramel cappuccino & enjoyed every drop!
The server might have been new, slightly forgetful of some small things, but was helpful & courteous.

Nice location and overall ambience/experience. Food was good, however, limited gluten free options. Also, I was disappointed in the “rosemary potatoes” as there was no rosemary (visibly or taste).

I had the butternut squash ravioli with salmon for dinner and the tiramisu cheesecake for dessert. Everything was cooked to perfection and presented well. Great food, great service, and a nice ambiance.

I’ve been here many times. Both for romantic and formal settings. Always a great place to get a great dessert and cocktails, but there is also the need to consider the vast beverage menu and extensive alcohol selection. Only eaten from the brunch and lunch and both are excellent. It is definitely in the European style of taking ones time and enjoying each others’ company.

I like this place mainly because of its well designed, seemingly well thought out hip interiors. I still recall that black huge chandelier hanging somewhere. We were here just for desserts and more drinks after coming from another place.

This place has got vibes of a bar but it's not exactly just a bar as it's way too big for a typical one. Good, helpful service. I will be back the next time I am in Atlanta.

My boyfriend and I always go here for one date night every time he visits. Such a romantic atmosphere! And their cake selection is astounding.

Excellent place for a bite, coffee, drink or desert. The decor is very traditional with lots of wood, a personal favorite. It is frequently crowded, but when a place is as good as Cafe Intermezzo it's understandable. Unfortunately, sometimes the service suffers slightly. The outdoor seating on Peachtree is awesome.

Bustling location (like all Intermezzo locations). Get the pie. Get an exotic espresso, or do like I did: get an exotic hot chocolate!

One of my favorite places. The Beautiful ambiance reminds you of the Florian in Venice, Italy. The coffee and liquor are superb and the yummy sweets such as the cakes and cheesecakes are rich and flavorful. Great spot for a girls night, date, meeting and/or family lunch.

Very nice servers and excellent menu. The French Onion soup and the special coffee and hot chocolate choices was perfect. The desert choices look amazing and you can choose from a whole cake counter of delight. Decor is warm and romantic.

It was good experience.a bit pricy but still affordable. Nice place to take a special someone. Me and my date went for desert which was really good. I got the nutella/ strawberry crepe. Service was ok.it was kinda crowded so our server was a but slow o. Getti g our order but the food came pretry quick afterwards.

Great environment excellent view of Peachtree the patio is available on the perfect day menu is delightful for pastry lovers I didn't eat this time but I'll be back great place to meet for a date with sos

Y'all HAVE to get the lobster ravioli, it is the best. Beware, the menu is different on Sundays. Also, dress nicely because you will 100% feel underdressed if you don't (both the restaurant's atmosphere and how everyone else dresses when they go here will contribute to this). They have a very large menu, I would compare it in size to Cheesecake Factory's and they have plenty of nonalcoholic and alcoholic drinks to choose from. I definitely recommend this to place to anyone visiting the city! There is a parking garage and parking lot nearby, I'm not sure if they cover your parking though.

I’ve been here before and it’s an easy 4 or 5 rating, but this time was different. First, they did not have my reservation. I showed them the confirmation email, and yeah that looks like it’s right, but sorry we don’t have a reservation for you. So they sat us at this tiny high top table in the bar area. Not exactly good for dinner. Our server, was very friendly, but never around. He always apologized that our drinks were not out yet or that they were empty, and yet they stayed empty most the meal. After dinner we ordered a dessert and coffee. The desert eventually came and he apologized about not having the coffee out. So I waited, while my wife enjoyed her dessert. Eventually I just ate mine, no coffee. When he came back and apologized for not checking on us and asked if we needed anything else, I told him I would just skip the coffee and go to the check please. Again, he was very nice. The food tasted good. And he did bring me a to go coffee on the house. But still, not the best experience.

Really good food, albeit, somewhat tight quarters for a dining place.

Updated review: it went down from a 4-star review to a 1-star review because of the atrocious wait-time. I asked to be seated, which was quick, but then a server never came to give me water, take my order, or anything. I waited for 6-7 minutes and then I pulled the hostess aside and asked if someone would be taking my order. She looked confused and frustrated, and said, yes, of course. I then waited for 4-5 more minutes before leaving. The hostess looked distraught that I was leaving, but no one ever came and if the service was that bad just trying to get someone's attention, then no way would the meal itself be worth staying for. I've only walked out of a restaurant for it being super slow twice; this being one of those times. Never going back.
