Dollar General, Dallas GA

I went to this dollar general in Dec to purchase some chocolate chips to make cookies. I purchased the clover brand. When I went to use them and opened the bag the chips were white in color on the outside. When I looked at the best by date it was August 18,2021. I was just in the store again today and I looked at the ones on the shelves and there were still some that were dated August and October 2021 there. I spoke to a store employee at the checkout and he seemed to not be concerned. The staff are not checking product as they put new product out. This is a health concern and is just bad business practices.

Cleaner than most dollar generals in the country. They also have a home section and fresh produce section which is really nice. Most def will shop at this one alot more than the others.

The staff is normally friendly, the main problem is they NEVER answer the phone. It does not matter what time you call or how often you call. They won't answer the phone.

This Dollar General has all of your needs! From fresh produce to home decor! I always walk out with something when I visit this store!

Love my local dollar general. Worst time to go is right after school lets out or weekends. As usual DG are under staffed and the staff are under appreciated. There is one gentleman who I will have to say is fairly rude and hardly ever seems like he is in a good mood. But that's retail for ya. They have a nice little selection for the home decor section. I love the little 3 cube shelves. And there only like 17 bucks, so great thing. The self checkout is great, when they have in working. The new produce selection is convenient especially if you don't want to drive too far or need something in a pinch.

Restrooms should be made available for handwashing purposes also. To be told " out of order " is a common practice that all Dollar general stores seem to have. Maybe a reliable plumbing service would be a great investment?

Takes months to restock anything. Store is usually in disarray. Not enough room between shelves to realistically walk comfortably. Trying way too hard to cram more stuff in a smaller space. Self checkout rarely works and I've got caught behind people having problems with the app holding up the line 3 different visits.

The lady was very friendly and very helpful. She made sure to tell me all of the sales she was having.

Dollar general has really stepped up their game with their merchandise and I for one really appreciate the self checkout option at this store!

Why have a sign on the door that says mask required when the employees dont wear mask or social distance. The guy who is assistant or manager does not wear mask and stands in the store around all the shoppers. NOT A GOOD EXAMPLE!

Seems to be closed hours are until 11 I pulled up at 10: 15 not sure why don't have any hours posted call the store but no answer

Consistently closes 30 minutes early even when there are guests pulling in and out of the parking lot actively

Everyone here is always so nice and helpful. I shop here mostly out of convenience, since its the closest store to my house.
