EMC Security, Suwanee GA

I have an older system so about two weeks ago my fire alarm went off. I can tell you my target heart rate was reached and surpassed very quickly! Immediately, y'all called and I'm scrambling around to figure out what's going on. The lady who talked to me that day was so calm and told me what to do to get that sirene off and I went to check under my house where the detector is located. Thankfully there was no fire or smoke and a tech helped me get the reset done. I made an appointment for a tech to come and check on October tenth if the detector needed replaced. I was so afraid it'd go off at night and scare me to death.literally! I was called yesterday, October 2, that he could come at 3 and so I was very grateful. He was here just after two and was so nice. His name is Eli. He replaced the detector as it was very old but all the wiring looked fine. I am nearly 72 and this system makes me feel so much safer. My son had it put in because it makes him feel better since I'm alone. I joke and say I'll do without my TV before I'll do without the EMC security! Thank y'all so much for your service!

Chose EMC after a rather poor experience with the company I have been using for 10+ years. Since day 1 with EMC, we have had issues with our system. First, the initial tech did not even finish his job. This was confirmed by the representative over the phone AND by the 2nd tech. The camera he installed was defective, and he never even confirmed its working condition. He never finished connecting the doorbell, and didn't care to name any of the sensors he installed. A couple of days after the initial install, we were getting "Zone Open" messages on the app. After opening and closing everything several times nothing ever changed, so we just had to bypass that sensor (still do not know what it goes to). Fast forward about a week and we get an error with the smoke detector. It just quit communicating with the panel. So once we were able to finally get another tech out and him being there for 2 hours, he could not figure out the issues. We are still getting the same errors, the camera still not working correctly, and the doorbell still doesn't work. EMC has been issues literally since day 1.

EMC is constantly working to correct our issues. I will update again when everything has been corrected.

*Update 2*
After multiple attempts at correcting our issues, we decided to have EMC uninstalled and canceled services with them. All of their equipment was removed and we never even got a call from a rep.to see what was going on. We had to call them the following Monday to inform them of the removal. It appears as though they do not monitor services on weekends. Anyway, we are now back with a different company and a system that works flawlessly.

They get the job done without any muss or fuss. You call them, they answer, they do what needs doing. Highly recommend.

Service technician did an excellent job! He explained what he was doing. He also rechecked his work and made certain everything was working properly after installation. He explained the charges completely.

EMC gives you a personal touch and insures your safety. The will call you before the representative comes to your home, the representative identifies themselves before they enter your home and they wear their visible company ID.
I am a repeat customer and the customer service remains friendly and reliable. I would recommend EMC for your security needs.

I have been a customer of emc security prior to buying our new residence. When it came time to install a system in our new house, there was no question that I was going to sign on with EMC security.

The whole sign on and install was clear and with no problem. Had to replace a door sensor. No problem there as the assistance I received was top notch.
