Firestone Complete Auto Care, Buford GA

I'm not sure what happen to the former manager and staff at this location this time.
The manager has changed several times over the pass 10 years. The managers and staff were always very professional and helpful. The manager there now isn't helpful at all. I have been taking a truck that belong to my son prior to his death there for service for the passed 10 years. I do not drive it often, only enough to keep the battery charged. Today I took it in for oil change, tire rotation and brake check. My appointment was at 1. At 2 I asked how much longer it would before they took the truck back to start working on it. The guy (David) said oh I thought you were going to leave it. I will get it worked in. He was taking other customer vehicles back before mind that had not made an appointment. So I asked him when it would be ready. He said when do you need it. I asked if it could ready at 5. He told me it would be ready at 5. He said that he would call me when it was ready so I left. The manager, his name was Mark called me and said that they could not do the work that I had requested. He said that the truck needed a new motor. I told him that I had not had any trouble with truck other that what I asked him to look at. He said the motor was knocking and that they could not do any work on the vehicle that it was their policy. I asked him if he would go ahead and repair the brakes and was told NO. I explained that I was worried of being in an accident, hurting myself or huurting someone else. He said again that it was their policy not to do any repairs if the motor was not good. Well I am thankful that I got home safely without an accident, no thanks to this shop! I will never go back there under the current policy this company has. I could have had an accident and hurt someone. I had already prayed to God getting the truck there due to worry over the squeezing brakes, nothing to do with the motor though! I think that a PERSON'S LIFE is more important than company policy. This was such a stressful experience! I will take the truck to another shop and have the motor checked out after they fix the brakes. I would have appreciated his advise, if he had fixed the I things that I took the truck in for and then told me that the motor had a knock. If the motor was knocking I didn't hear it! YES I AM A WOMAN but No I am NOT deaf! If there was a choice of a lower rating than 1 that is what you would get! NO THANKS FOR NOT CARING!

The manager Nicholas was very professional every step of the way. He offered me a rental car because they had to order me a new rim for my car the next day. Gave him this review because he didnt think of me as a customer, but as a human being.

I’m costumer the enterprise rent car, I have to change oil, I went to firestone Buford, ga, the personal with bad actitud said, live the car and come back Monday 5 pm, I explain to him IM COSTUMER THE INTERPRISE RENT CAR, they have contracts the services, anyway BAD ACTITUD AND MANERS

It took a while to get 4 tires installed. When I asked about it the informed me that in the process they striped a lug nut and broke a stud. They were apologetic and fixed everything to like new condition. Accidents happen and they made it right. I am completely satisfied with the work they did for me. I will be going back with my other car.

I just did a car inspection there, i thought my car has breaks problem cause i don’t feel comfortable about that. The stuffs are very friendly and professional. They are not the same as other sales ppl in dealer who always trying to sell me something. My technician is Jimmy. Thank you so much.

This is the Company two of my sons have purchased tires and get them rotated at no cost. They've been bringing they're vehicles here for around 7 years. Recently I brought a vehicle here for tire rotation. The manager is friendly, humorous, but most importantly, demonstrated honest business practices. I don't know about others, but when I find honest businesses, I hang onto them.

Had a situation with a rental car and Dustin the manager was great. They took me right in and solved the issue. Michael checked me or and he was really courteous and customer service minded. Great job guys

They stripped my oil change screw and no other place would change my oil, I had to take it back to them! Don't do!

Got my brakes fixed quick. Rates were reasonable. Jamaican gentleman running front very personable. As good as work on your truck can be.

Had my vehicle aligned TWICE. BOTH times the wheel was at a 45 degree angle and it pulls. I live in Dahlonega GA and this being the closest Firestone REALLY pisses me off since I wasted 4 hours of my time and have to drive back there tomorrow.

I needed a quick oil change done in a timely manner. They put me to the next open door, and got me out before the time I requested.

Very friendly staff. My only issue was that I made an appointment for work that they told me would take 2.5-3 hours and it was closer to 5.

This place is ridiculous. Made an appointment online for a routine inspection for 12: 00. Well here i sit at 2: 10 in the lobby still waiting for them to look at it. For something that take roughly 15-20 minutes tops, waiting 2+ hours with my 4 year old is a joke. I'll probably have more to add one they DO check it out.

The 'auto care advisor' was very personable but that hardly compensates for the 6 hour wait for a oil change / tire rotation. Insult to injury, I had to take my car back as they managed to warp one of my rotors.

Good but maybe a little short staffed. Seemed to take a little long on alignment and/or oil changes that I have done there. Otherwise seem to be good.

I am always skeptical of auto service establishments however I was extremely pleased with the level of service and value I received at this location.
Kevin was very helpful and accommodating. Thanks to him and the team, they now have a return customer and an addition vehicle to look after.

I felt like a VIP. Excellent service in sweltering conditions and the technicians seemed pleased to be doing it like it were a cozy 65 degrees. Thank you Firestone Staff.

They took 3 hours for oil change and tire rotation, when ever u ask what is going on, only one answer
'they r working", no courtsey.i dout if any one knows how to treat customers and what is the value of time.never ever go again.
