GameStop

Never had a problem until recently. Went to buy my son the x series xbox after going from Walmart to Walmart with no luck. Website said they had one left at this GameStop, and they close at 9 pm. Get to the door at 8: 35 to find the door locked and a sign that says "Gone to _. Be back in 30 minutes" on the door. And it wouldn't be a big deal except this is the 2nd time this has happened. Can't make money if you're not open when you're supposed to be. But, clearly, whoever owns/manages this store doesn't really give a flip. Totally understandable if there's an emergency or whatever.but just say that. Don't put out a sign saying "be back in 30 minutes" if you do not intend to come back. Ridiculous.

Such nice staff, and they have everything! I called before I went just to make sure and was able to go the next morning!

Everytime I go into this store the girl with pink hair always rude to me and sue says things she shouldn't say I will be calling the head people she dosent need to be in customer service

Employee was rude he forgot to put game in pack I got all the way home and he acted like he didn't even care with no personality answers every question with fair enough.man I have seen bricks with more sense

Great selection of games and consoles. One of the only places we've actually seen some new PlayStations and Xbox, in stock. Staff was super friendly.

This is my second favorite GameStop location! (Locust Grove is my #1) Katie and Peter are super knowledgeable and always friendly and this store has a great assortment of product consistently that I haven't found at other locations in the area. Keep up the great work.

Great place the big guy in there is very knowledgeable and very helpful, I went in to get some stuff for my kids sone stuff and he was really nice and helped us out while making it fun and enjoyable to take my money! Lol

My daughter went in to purchase a controller and they didn't have any new controllers in stock, only used controller was in stock. But the price she was going to pay she could have purchased a new controller and the sales associate agreed with what I was trying to her. So all in all instead of trying to make a sale the sales associate stuck with honesty and she went to Wal-Mart to make her purchase because they didn't have any new controllers in stock!

Would not give me a refund with a receipt. They only gave a percentage. I had bought it 3 days prior. Will never return

Great place to buy all kinds of games and some toys. Good customer service and nice employees.

They are shady! Went to trade in an older switch. Bought the new OLED switch. Rep never asked me to sign up for anything as my son has an rewards account with them. I gave my son's phone number which pulled up his account. After I got home I realized I had a $14.99 charge for some rewards. Then I went to my 2 week earlier receipt and another charge. Then I went to a receipt from the Morrow, GA store and a $10.00 charge for their rewards. Shady, must be a district thing to make money. I'll be ordering online from here on out!

The service is slower than most GameStop's I have been to and one of the workers likes to get onto some of the kids looking at the games.

Staff came to assistant as soon as I walked in the door. Clean, organized. Lots of variety to choose from.wonderful experience. A return for me is definate!

Normally I don't have any major issues, often know what I want don't require assistance and haven't had a negative experience here in a while. Yesterday I had to work late and asked a friend to pick up a game for me so I can relax when I got off work. They did so but unfortunately The friend isn't a gamer so didn't know to check the disk and the employee apparently didn't care cuz he or she didn't check the disc either. Besides being so scratched up it was nearly unusable to begin with, it was also covered in gunk. Almost like someone trying to clean the disk with the wrong cleaner. Long story short the game was borderline unplayable (I'm still trying, mostly on stubbornness), after much time cleaning it it started to download but is still giving me trouble. I could take this game back up and return it, I will if I can't get it to download but I shouldn't have to. A disc of this quality should have never made it into the case and into the customer's hand in the first place. I was trying to save $15 by getting a used version, next time I would just go to Walmart and buy a new copy. Saving $15 wasn't worth the hassle and wasting my one night a week to really relax and get into a new game. Even if I get this to work I most likely will just go elsewhere from now on. Just to be clear this isn't an overreaction as much as it's just I barely had any reason to go to GameStop in the first place because of the market shift, I'm just cheap enough to want to save some money even if it requires more effort but because of this experience it no longer feels worth it. As of now the review will be three stars and if I can't get it to work it will drop to two.

Probably the best Gamestop in the local area. Store is always clean, well organized and Peter is one of the nicer managers that I have dealt with. Staff is excellent as well.
