Gently Used Appliance, Newnan GA

We purchased a fridge converted to a freezer on top and bottom back in April during the COVID crisis when meat wasn’t going to be available. I paid $400 for it (total gouging due to pandemic) which I was fine with because as you know freezers weren’t available at that time for months. They called and said it was ready to pick up and worked fine. After getting it home it took 2 days for a jar of water to freeze on the bottom of the fridge which was converted supposedly. I called and they said to bring it back up there which I declined because they said it was working. I figured at the least the top was working so I would get by with that for now. Fast forward 3 1/2 months and the whole thing has stopped working and we lost $300 worth of meat to boot. Stay far away from this place! They sell junk and only warranty it for 30 days and on top of that you have to bring it to them for repairs. They are crooks!

They did have a small amount of products available to purchase that resembled the items shown on their website, but other than that I was not impressed with the selection as compared to the information provided on their website. Also, the prices in store didn't match those that were posted on their website either.

Affordable appliances with friendly guys at the counter! We will be back if we ever need another appliance.

We bought a used Amana washer and dryer here, and they work great. They even helped me load them.

Had an appliance part i needed at a great price. I've also bought several refrigerators from them. And they now offer military discounts.

Exceptionally very good service I was in with my wife looking at washers and was telling the salesman the problem with hours unknown to me the owner Sharon happened to be in the store she come over immediately and said have you considered having it repaired I said well it probably cost too much it didn't it turned out that she saved us money and we had a matching set to go over there dryer I was very happy and pleased I recommend this store to anyone thank you

Family owned, friendly service. Used appliances with a 30 day warranty. Got lucky today they got in some brand new scratch and dent refrigerator's so I snatched one up. They will deliver.install and remove your old appliance.

A little more expensive than i was hoping for and a 45 delivery fee. However the woman who helped me was so sweet and my dryer is holding up perfectly!

I live out of state and my daughter just had a baby. Her washer went and I saw they have then there for $149. I messaged Sharon and she said when someone gets there I can give my payment over the phone and they will deliver for an additional fee (which is fine) Well when someone got there they conveniently did not have any for $149. That is called Bait and Switch advertising. You can not advertise and tell someone you have something at a certain price then not have any. Disgusting representation of an American local business. This is why people just end up at big box stores, too many shady people like this

Wife and I bought a used washer and dryer for our 20 yr old boys for their first house. We wanted something simple and old school without computers or a bunch of sensors and such. Although they had alot of fairly new sets, I was glad to see a few sets that were older (80's) because they were built to last. I was thrilled to see a Whirlpool set just like what I grew up with, down to the tan exterior lol. It has been a month now and no problems whatsoever. The guy n gal (forgot names) were so nice and helpful. We have recommended to a few people. We will def return if we need any appliances.

Low ballers and didn't even have cash on hand to buy a washer and dryer. Offered me $60 for a washer and dryer that I sold quickly and privately for $150

Bad customer service beware do not go to this place I seen a post on let-go that showed a side-by-side refrigerator from 199. I drove an hour to get to the location just to be told that it was 299. I showed the owner wife the post that I seen on let-go that shows that it was for 199.she proceeded to tell me oh that was a typo let me change that right now.turn back around to me and tell me okay now ma'am the price is 299. I let her know that it was advertised for 199 and could she possibly meet me in the middle for 250.she proceeded to call her husband which is the owner take me next door and show me one that had rust in the bottom of it inside the refrigerator and told me that she would sell that one to me for 275. I told her being that I drove an hour out.you can give it to me for 250. She proceeded to tell me that she could not do it and that's all she could do and I mention to her about the customer service that is not good customer service and it's not fair to me a person that drove an hour out burned her gas and time just to be told it was another price and you adjust the price in front of me not good customer service.

This place has bad business practicing written all over it. My wife and I went if we could sell them our Amana washer/dryer set. We purchased the set not quite 6 months ago as a brand new set. The guy that the owner sent out to look at it tried to tell us that the pair was cheap and that you could buy them all day long, brand new at home depot for $200, when they have the same model on their floor in much worse condition for $250. The owner came out, did a walk by and walked straight inside, then offered us an insulting $25 for the set, telling me they normally pay $35 at most for a washer/dryer set. I would not recommend anyone using Gently Used Appliances unless you are missing some anger and frustration in your life.

Bad business! Don't waste your money! We have made the mistake of purchasing two sets of washers and dryers from this buisness. Each purchase came with a one month warranty. We paid $279 for the first set. The washer lasted just a little over three months. The dryer went out soon after. As our warranty had already expired, we were forced to buy a new set. We paid $290 for the second set. It lasted just slightly over two months. On this second set we asked them if they could send someone out. Just to come out and access the problem cost $45. He said that the motor had gone out on the washer and would cost is another $125 to have it fixed. With the money we have spent on the two sets, in such a short amount of time, we could have bought a brand new set. Lesson learned!

I have tried to give this place multiple chances for both personal and for my business. Let's start with personal, I have bought two dryers, one washer, and two refrigerators and the best I ever got was a year out of them. When I call them for service, they charge me a service fee of $45.00 to pretty much tell me that I need to buy another machine. Now for my business. I call them to fix a big commercial refrigerator. The refrigerator was not cooling anymore. The owner shows up with one of his worker's. The owner was middle age white male and his worker was middle age black male. The reason I say that is because I do not remember their names. Anyways, they told me that I need a new compressor. They quoted me for just the compressor at $980.00 but when I check three different websites the most expensive one was $323.80. So I decide to get a second opinion. The second company told me the compressor was fine and I just need to add free on to refrigerator. Five months later (now) refrigerator is still cooling. Stay away from this palace.

Very disappointed DO NOT buy anything from this place.purchased an upright freezer in may 2015 it has already stop freezing.they offer 30 day warranty which they did not honor.we purchased freezer the first day after they delivered it started giving us issues, technician was very rude, they gave us the run around, they did not fix problem. We Will be also reporting company to Better Business Bureau (BBB). We purchased other appliances from them before did not have this Problem, Very Disappointed! We will not ever buy from them again! The only reason one star was left from us is because you have to leave at least one star to leave a review, otherwise i would not give them any stars!

Purchased a nice used washer and dryer set back in June, still working great today! Sharon was very helpful in helping us pick out the right set for our budget! We will buy from again!

Bought a side by side refrigerator for $350 + $45 to deliver for my rental house. It stopped cooling properly within the first 2 weeks of the 30 day warranty. They sent a repairman out 4 different times to no avail. Said would come for a final repair or replace.still waiting, called back for my money back.and got the run around again. Would not give me the owner's name or phone number.said they would have the owner called me. STILL WAITING? Also, they put used parts on for repair. Junk.stay away from this place!
