Gondolier Italian Restaurant and Pizza reviews
33I've always loved Gondolier's in Woodstock but today I think maybe they have a new cook. My pizza had only a tiny bit of red sauce and hardly any toppings, also it was luke warm when it was put on our table. It might be a while before I go back
Delicious food. The menu is extensive and impressive. The owner and staff deliver excellent service.
Awesome Management, and staff! They are one of our hometown local businesses in which I support.
All of the selections I have picked from the menu have been awesome!
Pizza is a bit better than Dominos, but it should be way better. Sadly it's pretty bland. Maybe other dishes are better.
I've been using this restaurant off and on for close to 20 years. I use to take my kids there when they were little. The food has always been the best Italian, I've personally have ever tasted. They have the most beautiful chocolate cakes on display at the counter. It's impossible to resist not buying a piece. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you're looking for authentic Italian food, this is the place to go.
Friendly, family oriented restaurant with awesome food! I loved the pizza and the deserts were great!
I'm honestly confused as to why this place has so many good reviews because when we went this past weekend, the food was way below average and the service was almost nonexistent. Clearly people that go here have never been to Italy or eaten TRUE ITALIAN FOOD because everything tasted frozen and you could definitely tell that nothing was homemade. It was like dining at your typical cheesy, gross American version of an "Italian restaurant". 10/10 do NOT recommend.
Gondoliers dine in was our first experience and we were hooked! The best Calzone my husband and I ever had. The kids pizza was amazing as well. After several buy one get one free take out orders, they quickly became our favorite! When I forgot my wallet when I came to pick up, they still gave me the pizza and told me to just call them back and pay when I got home since it was already under my name, now THAT is true customer service and value, and you can’t beat it. Best all around and authentic.
This restaurant is excellent. Family owned. Food is fresh and authentic every time. We have never eaten there when the owner is not in the restaurant. Their manicotti and chicken parmesan is delicious.
The pizza and all their food is always good. They are very friendly and the bogo deal has been a good promotion during the covid
My best friend and I love to meet for a girl's night dinner out. The best spaghetti and bread sticks in town!
Favorite place to eat with the family! Homecooked meal when you don't feel like cooking. Buy one get one free on carry-put pizza too. #OURGOTOPLACE
Food is always good BUT. CARRYOUT SPECIAL is a JOKE! BAIT AND SWITCH! GIMMICK! Regular prices are jacked up to "give you a deal"! Give me a break. Really? !? Just say its buy one get one at 50% off. Don't have to play games! BTW, Stevie B's right across the street has carryout with unlimited toppings for $5 and is actually good pizza too. MUCH BETTER DEAL!
Italian & Greek, food was fresh, hot, good. All you can ask for. Crust on the pizza is worth coming back for alone
Pizza is really good. Crust makes it.
Calzone and stromboli and delicious.
Try the fried calamari!
Atmosphere is good. Family friendly.
Service is normally really good and friendly.
Just your standard casual, cheap and quick Italian restaurant. Very good menu includes some Greek dishes as well. Seemed like the bread, cheese sticks, onion rings came from frozen. Sauces seemed canned. Service was good though and if I'm looking for a quick night out I'd return.
I was looking up places to eat and this came up so we went. Let me tell you this place is amazing the food is wonderful best I have ever eaten I got the Alfredo and it was delicious. The breadsticks are amazing and I got the chicken and rice soup sooooo good. Price was amazing are server Chelsea was soooo nice and amazing. The wait was super short. Everyone was amazing and I really recommend the short cake.
Amazing made from scratch real food from the breadsticks to the pasta and sauces. Great service genuine people. We need more places like this.
I usually don't leave food reviews but this place was that amazing! I have spent a large part of my life in food service and the food, staff, and atmosphere was fantastic. I will recommend this as "must eat here" stop for anyone who travels to Woodstock!
