I loving eating here and do so every week. Not sure what some of the other reviews are talking about. Everytime I come I order a burger and tots. They burger is always good and a classic option. Occasionally I order the euro and that is delicious as well. A great place to come eat with family and if you’re a true southerner, you won’t mind a little bit of friendly conversation from staff. Everyone inside is a great worker and the cook does well from my experience. This place is a staple in the town of Lagrange for me and so many other people. Keep up all the good work! There’s barely any places around anymore with an atmoSphere as friendly and accepting as this one.

Loved going to this little gem. Stopped in here for a late lunch on Sunday. We had Reuben sandwiches

We got there about thirty minutes, but they still gave us plenty of time to look over the menu and order. Food and service were great.

I had a hankering for a really good breakfast, something lagrange Ga seriously lacks! And this was not it! First there is no greeting or explanation of if you seat yourself or wait. I got our menus and sat us. Drinks came promptly and accurately. We ordered hobo skillet over medium, sausage biscuit, grits, French toast and bacon. The skillet is potatoes, cheese and eggs. My first skillet came cooked extra hard. The 2nd one came back cooked properly, but was a soggy, dirty tasting, flavorless pile of mush. The sausage biscuit was inedible because the biscuit was flavorless and seemed steamed from being frozen and fell apart and the sausage tastes expired. The grits were seriously undercooked and was like biting into wet sand. The French toast was soggy. The bacon was cooked fine and the coffee was good. We did not eat the food. $25 total bill for food that was thrown in the trash. The waitress was also bothered because we aren't chatty. I came with someone I wanted to talk to, I was friendly but just didn't want to make small talk. She needs to learn it's ok if some people don't want to know she has 2 kids aged 3 and 10 and if she needs a drill and what her Thanksgiving plans are in one week. Sometimes, it's ok to just be quiet.

Gus's has the best burgers ever. You can tell it is going to be great before you even walk in the door as the smell hits you. It has the smell of a true fresh beef pattie cooking that you would remember from the 80's and before. The staff is friendly and accommodating. They bring out the food and it is hot right off the grill. When they placed my Double Bacon Cheeseburger on the table in front of me the first thing I thought was that it looked like a burger in an advertisement for a burger. Fresh crisp lettuce, delicious fresh tomatoes and onions. This is a 40 minute trip for me but I'll be there again soon!

Love this play. Joey and Tara are great hosts. Gus and Rico in the kitchen make a great team. Food is homemade and delicious.

I've been having serious foodie withdrawals since moving back to the "deep" south. We went from 15 or so completely different local spots within walking distance to nothing in walking distance and most things spread out across town. So, it was nice to find a decent established local spot that everyone enjoys. Friendly service and the owner in the back whipping up dishes. Plates are not super fancy but flavors are done very well. The options are mostly sandwiches and salads. One of the only places in town to find a good Gyro. I opted for the Alpine mushroom bacon and Swiss burger with fries. We ate at the counter so it sort of felt like eating at an old school diner or soda fountain. That's just fine by me. Place closes up at 2pm, so if you got a hankering then hanker on over before then. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

Fantastic find! We had a short wait to get in but service and food were on point! The pancakes were incredible and will definitely return when in Lagrange!

Family owned and operated, this is THE place to catch breakfast and lunch. If you find yourself passing through, please go say hi.

Ok, so here’s what I found out today. They have a lunch special Baked Spaghetti, only problem is that it’s not “Baked” it’s just spaghetti with a meat sauce. My spouse enjoyed there spaghetti but I was extremely disappointed in that it wasn’t a baked spaghetti. Had plenty of flavor for it just being regular spaghetti. Portion size for 12$ was off too!
We’re from out of town and camp at the COE campground and have had Gus’s for breakfast many times. The landfill omelette with hash browns and biscuit is definitely a off the chart meal. As in not enough stars to truly say how good it really is.
With all that said I’ll stick with eating there breakfast’s.

Bacon and cheese omelette delicious. The pancakes are good. The bacon and sausage is decent. The grits have no flavor, hash browns were soggy/Mushy and so was the toast. The staff though is very friendly. I’d go there just for the omelette again and to try other menu items. Good prices and we love to support locally owned businesses.

I had a delightful lunch experience at Gus's Grill in Lagrange with my daughter. Our waiter, Joey, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about gluten allergies, which was greatly appreciated. The GF options he discussed were reassuring. The portion sizes were impressive – I ordered a scoop of tuna and the Greek salad, both of which were delicious. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her country salad with fried chicken tenders, and the generous portion meant she had leftovers to take home. Overall, a satisfying meal with excellent service!
