I had to take my Xmark 48 Zero turn in to have work done on it. It is still under warranty, so I didn't have to pay. I even got it back in a short amount of time, which was impressive. I wanted to let the public know what a great group of guys work there. Daniel and David went above and beyond to help me. I'm not trying to take glory from the rest of the guys, but I wanted a special shout out to Daniel and David.
Howard Brothers, you are lucky to have this kind of staff. They are very skilled and knowledgable about the products and how to help a customer professionally! It was a pleasure doing business with you! Oh yeah, the mower runs fantastic! Thanks Again! Joseph David Litt

Well organized store. "They're not as eager to help you find what you need as some other hardware stores. " I wrote this about a year ago, and I don't feel the same way anymore. I kind of feel like there is vibe similar to a small town with this store, and we just had to get to know each other. I'm always well taken care of there.

Guys at the parts counter can be lazy at times. They do not really bother to check or cross reference parts, especially the manager. If you don't like your job or always have a bad attitude, then it's best to be some where else. If you know the part numbers then why do you need them, when ordering online can be cheaper. I sometimes pay the extra amount to support small business but when the service does not meet the price, well then shop elsewhere. Only great thing about them is their hardware store. Please fix the manager. It's the reason why I rather buy my power equipment from other places

This place is horrible. I was charged $100+ more than I was quoted without even a courtesy phone call that I specifcally asked for. I would not take your business here and instead go to Peachtree Mower. Horrible way to conduct business. The servicing was almost as much as a brand new lawnmower

Well organized store. They're not as eager to help you find what you need as some other hardware stores.

The Staff was quick to help they know there job. Friendly. Mostly the small stores have parts. Fittings tools. Hardware that Lowe's or home depot would never have.

In my opinion overpriced incompetent service took my Honda there and told them to fix everything it needed. The Transmisson was bad and they fixed it and did a tune up two months later had to take it back for repair again some of the same problems it had when I took it in the first time. Spent $400 the first time and $150 the second time. The first time it took over a month the second time over a week.it is a commercial model so it is worth repairing. Will not go back so be careful.

I'm not sure why Howard Bros would have bad reviews - if you know what a good hardware store is, and you take landscaping seriously (or commercially) there isn't a better small engine store you'll find in the ATL area. I just wish they had a location closer to civilization (Decatur).

Here 40lb Tank LP refill, cost around $1 dollar a pound. I think is over priced, I prefer pay by gallon bc competition selling depends on regular gasoline price is.
They don't certificate propane tanks or exchange.

Service guy gave me great advice on my repair needs even though their shop didn't service my brand

My experience was terrible at the Doraville location, beware! They held on to my lawnmower to long and didn't explain to me what was going on with my equipment until I tracked down the service manager (he actually was the one who came out to my residence and picked the mower up). When I did, he went up on the price. I will never deal with Howard Brothers again. The service manager was very unprofessional, and I question his honesty & integrity.

I was going to buy Echo combo trimmer packages. But, they said " It's all sold out, we can give you combo price even purchased separately. I got echo 225 power head, trimmer, hedge, edger, trimmer string. When I check out he showed me only total price. I requested show me detail price. But, hesitated. He charged all separate regular price.
That's why I complained " This is not honest"
The guy said " Hey ~~ This is not Home Depot! "
?
I didn't know that only Home Depot selling honestly!
I'm very disappoint their attitude & customer care.

I don't know if your Dad is like mine, but if he could, my Dad would turn his house into this store.unfortunately for him, my Mum exists. This store is a GEM, in an ocean of sewage. My Dad would lv how they have arranged all the zillion kinds of screws and nuts and bolts and washers and God-knows-wat in little plastic drawers with little hand written labels and row after row of things that a millennial would not hv the first clue about. This store is probably the last of it's kind. I hope it never changes.
