My extended family and I have been coming to It's About Time for the better part of a decade. The majority of our timepieces have been purchased from their stores. It's a local, family-owned business with knowledgeable staff and excellent service. These guys are the real deal. They always have a great selection and are very well educated about each piece they offer - true specialists! They are the only ones I trust to properly maintain and service our watch collection.

Highly recommend!

Amazing:) I've had two experiences here and the staff is always friendly and knowledgeable! Greg helped me with a walk-in fix within 20 min for a very reasonable cost tight before closing

Wish I had the guys name (2/14/20) but he was totally down to earth and helpful. Low pressure sales allowed me time to think about my purchase.

I came to this shop because I had been to a couple different ones prior, in California. I felt my experience with one the other franchise shops were good, quick, and professional. So naturally, I expected the same experience here. Unfortunately, that was not the case.

I brought a watch to have the battery replaced. I was running my last set of errands for my upcoming wedding in a month and wanted the battery in one of my favorite watches replaced. This was not an expensive watch, but one of sentimental value.

As I dropped off the watch, I asked politely if they could be very careful with the watch and how long would it take to get it back? I was made sure not to imply anything to make them feel rushed, etc.

The reply I received from a big gentleman (biggest guy there) with a beard and wearing glasses was, “I don’t know. ” I asked again, in a slightly different way, but just as polite, if he could be gentle when replacing the battery to ensure no damage to the back of the watch, since I have had an issue with a nicer watch in the past that was scratched and damaged. Again, I just wanted some comfort and reassurance about them changing the battery without damage for an inexpensive watch. I felt as a customer, this was a legitimate question and concern.

Instead of a simple response, the same guy who seemed agitated from my initial appearance, refused to give me eye contact, rolled his eyes, shrugged his shoulders and asked me, “Do you want your battery replaced or not? ” Instead of being rude back, I gathered my items and started walking out of the store. Before I completely exited the shop, I turned around and asked another employee to speak with the Manager.

The Manager puts on his customer face and asked me how he could help me. I discussed with him what had happened and he assured me that he would talk to the employee. He then proceeded to ask if I wanted him to replace my battery instead. I told him no thanks, but as we continued to have our conversation, the same rude employee started to taunt me as he was standing behind the counter from a far. To add insult to injury, he began to wink and blow me kisses. But I found this odd as he looked more silly than the frustration he believed to have delivered. I continued to speak with the Manager and told him that your employee is winking and taunting me right now. Instead of turning around and trying to address the blatant disrespect, he kept assuring me that he would deal with his employee. In other words, nothing would be done.

I found this to be demeaning and I felt devalued as a customer and as an individual who just wanted the battery in their cheap watch changed for his upcoming wedding. I came in with high spirits and nothing but a smile, but left with distaste for this company and the individuals who work there.

I don’t really care to find out why I was treated this way because it doesn’t matter. What I have decided to do is fight their ignorance and terrible customer service the best way I can as a customer with a small voice by leaving a review and letting future customers decide if they want this type of service from a business like this. Their service and my experience speaks for itself.

After leaving, I left to pick up my tuxedo near Lenox mall so I went to the same franchise in Lenox and had a completely different experience. They charged a little more than I was quoted at Perimeter mall, but I still felt better paying more for better service.

***I am not an individual who likes to go out of their way to write negative reviews, but I had to make an exception for this business. I waited some time from the date of the incident to make sure it was something worth leaving a negative review for. Turns out it was.

My experience here was awful and I am writing this review to discourage anyone who cares about good customer service from bringing their business here. They used to be located on the second floor of Perimeter mall and are now located on the ground floor. “It’s About Time” this company starts treating all customers right.

I dropped off two Diesel watches and a fossil to have the batteries replaced and the band reconnected. Branyan assisted me. He knew exactly which parts they had in stock and when I couldn't get my fossil watch band repaired as I had lost the pins he recommended some other options. I ended up purchasing a nice red band and have received multiple compliments. I love excellent customer service and thanks to Branyan I am a customer for life. He even shared the fact that he plays in a band as he was swapping out my new band. Engaging, efficient and economical. Do your self a favor and make this your next stop for Watch and battery needs.

I got my mk watch battery replaced in less than 10 minutes. The guy that did it was very knowledgeable about watches and was very quick! Awesome job and very good price at $15. Compared to fix-fast jewelry upstairs where they were trying to charge me up to $60.

I went here to have my watch repaired. It took almost a month for them to repair, and two days after I received my watch, it broke down. First it was running too fast, then too low, and finally it could not move a single second anymore. Thank you!

Got two watch batteries changed. Timex was 12.75 and the Victorinox was 15.00. Employee was very friendly and swapped the batteries in just a few minutes. No charge for discovering that one timex that I brought in was dead. Also the employee seemed very knowledgeable about all watch brands and seemed to have a genuine interest in watch collecting.

Went into the Perimeter Mall location with a watch that wouldn’t work, even after getting a new battery. The staff member at It’s About Time examined the watch, found that the battery holder wasn’t adjusted correctly, and fixed/cleaned my watch without charging me a cent. Very satisfied with the friendly and knowledgeable staff and service. Will definitely go back again!

Great staff and service. We took in three different watches for battery replacements and were in a time crunch. Dominick said it would take 5 minutes to change all three batteries.he did it in three. Prices were reasonable for the service. Only issue is it’s in Perimeter Mall and parking can be an issue.

It’s about time is sooo much cheaper than Fast & fix jewelry (from across the strore). Had Mark changed my two watches batteries, it took less than 10mins n he was very knowledgeable. Thanks guys!

I brought in several watches to be serviced. They were very fair in discussing the value of one of the watches vs.the cost to have it serviced. In addition I received prompt call backs and efficient service when visiting the store. Would use again.

This place is quick, affordable and does a great job! Other places in the mall charge almost triple this place. I had my battery changed for $15 while I shopped.

I would give a much higher star rating if the option was available. I went about a month ago in search for Authorized Hamilton’s and was overjoyed not only by their collection, but authentic welcoming atmosphere. After finding the exact watch that had been on my mind, both Dominique and Mark truly helped me walk out yesterday with nothing, but happiness over my heart felt Hamilton Khaki Navy Scuba. I am not taking this one off! And for all you people wondering about online, you simply aren’t getting the full experience, wear out ability, connection or even authentic warranty services, etc etc. It’s about time made my hard earned purchase right by having knowledge behind true watches honestly which is hard to find. Thank you guys and I’ll be coming back again when it’s about time for not only myself, but loved ones and friends! Thanks again!
