Department Store JCPenney reviews
19I want to give a shout out to Kim Bruner. She stepped when the online customer service failed miserably. I ordered 3 sets of dishes and one set had broken plates. Online was happy for me to drive to multiple stores at $5 a gallon to either find a replacement or return them. That wasn't the point! Some dishes were broken but not all and I couldn't find a replacement anywhere so I wanted the non broken dishes to go with the others. I simply wanted some credit for the broken ones. At some point common sense has to prevail. If I return them JCP loses all money plus shipping. Kim allowed me to explain the situation and quickly provided a solution that was fair to both parties. I didn't want them for free and she understood there had to be a happy medium. I never heard the cuss word in retail of "Our Policy". She was a pleasure to work with and took my experience from a 1 to 5 by simply listening and being fair. She did the right thing and has kept a customer that will continue to shop at her store. BTW the store is very well merchandised. Hat Tip to Kim
Went into Kohls In Hiram against my better judgment but I went in on this past Sunday to sephora was greeted but no one ever offered help or tried to assist. I simply went across the street to the best sephora at Jcpenney! They are rude and stared rather than help.
KOHLS IS STILL NOT THE PLACE TO BE! I CAME TO SPEND MONEY SO.
I shop here all the time. Just bought 2 sterling silver rings for $25 each. One has real diamonds. The original price was $124.98
Interesting staff mix. Dressing rooms are still closed. Varied items, but has upscale clothing lines. I prefer this store to the Town Center location.
Store is pretty nice, but a manager harassed me about returning shoes that were too small and accused me of wearing them, which was false. Extremely unprofessional!
Beautiful store! So much nicer than the one in Douglasville at Arbor Place Mall. A better selection and a bigger store! I will start traveling to Hiram.
The photo team at JCPenney was excellent! My son took his graduation photos there and they came out amazing! The studio that our school contracted for senior photos was horrible. I wish that JCPenney's was contracted to provide the photography for senior pictures. This is a testament of how great my son's senior photos look.
Really impressed! I haven't been in a Penney's in a while and I must say I've been missing out. The merchandising department is doing a stellar job at bringing the store to life! Everything was clean and organized, making shopping a breeze! I'll be making this a regular stop for all my family's clothing needs!
The best JCPenney store I've ever been. Clean, organized, well stocked. Seems like the employees and managers are on top of things to keeps this gem going.
Came in to go to Sephora and Natasha was amazing! She was super helpful, attentive, and made sure I was ready for my boudoir photoshoot! I can’t wait to go back to get other products.
This establishment is beyond unprofessional. The
customer service is poor, and conditional. Let's start with
how management gossips, discussing employees
personal business amongst each other and on the sales
floor. They have no consideration for you individually.
There's no work/life balance. Their beyond unorganized.
It's fine for them as managers to not work and to be
hostile and unprofessional to customers. It's clearly
acceptable. Every staff in the building including the
general manager needs training and possible a business
seminar on customer service, diversity and respect.
Learn to communicate in a professional manner to
customers and employees. How is it acceptable that you
have underage girls in the store chasing around the
males. Then have a discussion about that matter on the
sales floor in the open on the floor so customers and
employees can hear. It was an issue for that young man,
but I didn't see management have the same energy for
the under age young lady who chased the male around
the store harassing him. Hire more males, of every
ethnicity.
This is a woman operated store. There is no balance of
males and if there is they are minorities, custodians and
or underage. There are under 6 male workers in this
store. I know they say the future is female but this is far
beyond excessive.
I went to the hair salon as a walk in I got in pretty quickly, the young lady that washed and styled my hair was super accommodating her name is Stephanie she made sure I was pleased with the style. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone that doesn't want to spend all day getting your hair done.
This establishment is unorganized and unprofessional. They have all there clothes on the wrong price racks and are not honoring their mistakes. They are not friendly nor nice and they all look at you as if they are confused if you ask them a question about the store. Terrible experience.
Went to get portrait pictures taken, the photographer was unprofessional and took only single shots. Not a single photo came out good
Nice professionally photographs done on premises. Christmas family photos nice and enforced mask policy until ready to take photos. Nice merchandise at a real price.
So slow checking out. I was double charged for an item. I had to make a return and get the double charge taken off. The lady kept saying I was trying to return what I was double charged for and I wasn't. Frustrated when Ieft.
Horrible customer service at the Hiram, Ga location. I needed to know if they had a different size of dress. Since no one was in the section, I walked to the front to ask the lady there for assistance. She did not know who worked in that section and did not have a communication device. I went to jewelry counter where there were associates. She called for someone who never came. I saw several associates talking with each other and walked toward the back.
If you need a Christmas gift, JCP is the place to go. Patty, cashier, was incredibly nice. The selection of Christmas items and larger sized clothes is good in men's and women's departments. They also had a nice selection of bed pillows.
I have never been to a free standing JCPENNY and went in thinking I wouldnt be impressed. They had a really good selection and great sales.
