The tech was supposed to come out and install a new router and put in an extender but all I got was a phone call around 8: 38am asking if my internet was working he never came to my house so over windstream! Service SUCKS and price is ridiculous!

The only good experience was the technician who showed up today. Kinetic took over a week to correct the problem and left me without internet service. I was not alone all this time. Most of the contacts I had with this company couldn't even speak English.

Brandon (Field Technician) educated me on my router and modem. That was helpful as was his very effective resolution of the lack of WiFi connectivity. He discovered the old router was defective. The new one works great and got our bandwidth back. Brandon provided me very friendly and professional customer service and is an excellent representative of the best of the Kinetic by Windstream Corporation products and services.

Adam was very efficient. He found the main line, hooked up the router and checked the speed in all the main rooms.

The technician was super helpful. However, now we have to wait another 5-7 days to get the cable Buried. Big let down there.

Horrible inconsistent internet. They make false claims about what is slowing down your internet speeds and they give no explanation for the complete loss of service that repeatidly occours. Customer service was beyond unhelpful.

Garrett was our technician that got sent out when we needed a new system due to the update. He was very knowledgeable and helpful getting our wifi back up and running. I appreciated all of his help and great customer service!

The technician was excellent. However I am waiting to have you move the old lines off the old dangerous pole so Brm could remove the pole there’s a new pole for your transfer 3 ft away. 05476178 is the work order number. Please address this Lines are sagging across the street as well.

Horrible, Horrible service. I are having major issues with our internet, low signal less than 0.4 Mbps. We been trying to call for hours and hours at a time sitting, and waiting for someone to response. After days and hours on hold we finally get someone, they dont know nothing, but schedule a tech visit a week from that date. A WEEK! My jaw dropped. I asked to escalate because I work and make a living via internet. So nothing gets done until finally a tech a week later gets dispatched. He is clueless as all of them at this company, its like they dont communicate with each other. I have to explain 10000 times to each and one of them what is the problem, and the entire situation from the beginning. Long story short Nothing was fixed. He stopped responding to any of my communication attempts with him. Ticket got closed even though the problem still remains and nothing is fixed. This issue that we are having has been going on for over a week now, and no resolution yet or when it will be fixed. I am very unhappy, we don't have internet still for over a week now, going on week number two. It's costing me extra money because I have to go elsewhere to work. It's a total disaster: (very very unhappy. But I feel like I am a hostage because there are no other options for any type of internet service in that area.so we are stuck with Kinetic by Windstream unfortunately. So sad and disappointed. If I could give them negotiate stars, rather than 1 star, then I would definitely rate them at the lowest.

Was without internet for 5 days. Considering I’m in a rural location that is borderline OK. The problem was caused by a company-wide firmware update that they sent out automatically. The replacement hardware was shipped without any instructions. The phone support was useless. I was only getting half-speed, but connected! Add 3 days for the repairman to arrive. We learned those 3 days at half speed, and the cost incurred by Kinetic to send a repairman on-site could all have been avoided by: 1) include instructions with replacement hardware, or (2), better trained phone support. Just an FYI….

This was the absolute worst customer service I’ve ever received. My elderly mother tried to talk with the lady and let her know what’s going on and she was loud and obnoxious, talking over my elderly mother and not letting her get one word in and being extremely rude. All I wanted was a different modem. I was told that I needed to call and that’s what I did for two days but got hung up on so that’s why I went to the local office. I highly do not recommend this office for anyone to use. Unless you want to get yelled at.

First of all the employees are very rude.my mother She went in to get help with the wifi cause we have been calling and no one would answer.there was a software update apparently we were not aware of and it fried the modem. What do we pay service for when there gonna treat people like dirt.especially elders I will be in touch with the corporate office and let them know what kind of people are working there

After being without internet for 19 days, we FINALLY got a fabulous repairman Brent out this afternoon. After Kinetics emailing me that my modem was broken (without ever coming out), Brent had us backplane shortly! No new modem needed, wasn't broken. This repairman is OUTSTANDING. He has been here before. Very professional, happy, mannerly!
