Legacy Lodge

This is the most bad experience I ever have in my live. They over charge $475.00 for a one night room that was not even clean. The 1st thing I saw was a spider on the ceiling, scratches on the table, and the balcony with spider webs on the rail. Dont forget the balcony view having a tree obstruct everything. All this with no included breakfast and no microwave in the rooms to boot. Overall, i would not recommend visiting this location. Thanks for nothing!

First time here, check in is so easy, the grounds are immaculate! Pool was clean, nice and warm, not to crowded. Took the tram for a free tour, very nice informative driver. Ate dinner at Bullfrogs, wife had the steak, broccoli, and some outstanding corn on the Cobb, her steak was delicious. I had 1/2 rack of ribs, they were very good, fruit and sweet potato waffle fries, different and good. Breakfast is buffet style at Sydney's, they will cook you whatever kind of omelette you want.

For $345.00 a night! Beds are not comfortable and resturants on premises sucked.sad to leave this review as it has a breath taking scenery upon entering.

Lake Lanier is a beautiful place. Everyone should visit and take in some fun in the sun and in the water. It seems to a focus on family activities. I’ll definitely go back inspite of it somber history.

The villas are nice and there is a cute dock and walking path to it in the back. Bathroom has been updated and feels clean and new.

There is plenty to do and the scenery is absolutely gorgeous. The customer service is Superb, especially at the restaurants and during breakfast. Some activities were overpriced and the rooms and a few other areas need to be updated.

Disappointed… the tub didn’t drain and I’d expect more for over $200/night. They don’t provide in room service- again, at this price it would have bern nice to empty the trash and provide fresh towels. Nice views from balcony!

Beautiful lake. The lodge is very nice. Would definitely recommend staying. The Bullfrog grill down stairs had a decent menu with decent food.

Food from both restaurants were really delicious. The employees were very nice and they followed guidelines. But as far as the room goes one bed was super comfortable but the other was not. There was also two huge spiders in the bathroom that was awful and mildew in the drain bathroom. But overall it was nice to be there.

Had a great time with my grandbabies. Seen santa and went to story time everything was wonderful. And will be doing this again next year.

This was a beautiful, serene way of starting the new year. The staff were courteous and helpful.
We had a check in time for 4 p.m, however we got there 2 hours early and with no hesitation were allowed to check in early. The room cleaned and sanitized and we could smell the freshness when we walked in.
Breakfast at Sidney's restaurant was delicious. We also, visited the Carnival and the snow tubing was our favorite activity.
Overall, a memorable experience.

This place really knows how to do it in the winter time even during covid-19. The snow tubing and carnival were a lot of fun and kept us busy in the evening. The property is beautiful and well kept. We stayed in the lake houses and if you're only using the two bedrooms it's perfect because each room has its own bathroom. But if you're using the pull out couch, the down side is the person sleeping on the pullout has to go through someone else’s bedroom to get to it. The cabin was a bit outdated with regard to appliances and furniture. But the cabin for the most part was clean and the beds comfortable, and the living area cozy, however the bathrooms could use some work. They have a nice outdoor patio with a grill and a table. One recommendation if you have young children or dogs you could use a baby gate to block off the stairwell that leads down. If you're opting to rent a golf cart I would recommend you only rent it for the daytime. In the evenings there are many restricted areas and your golf cart will shut down so it wasn't as enjoyable in the evening. All in all we enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back in the summertime.

This is the best hotel to stay at for DragonCon if you can get in here this is where you want to be the staff is great courteous thoughtful and very good at their job

It was me and my wife's 2 year weeding anniversary well like 2 weeks before and the staff just asked us what brought us to GA and gathered this fact. When I arrived in my room 2 minutes later there was a knock at the door with a wonderful bottle of champagne for us. What really makes this place special is the staff. The go way above and beyond catering to your every whim I highly highly recommend

I went here for the breakfast with Santa. They really did a good job. They went all out with decorating. The decorations were very cool. The food was good as well

The rooms were nice. House keeping was good. But the food was excellent. Great event coordinator

I normally except what I get and don’t pitch a fit! But our room still had dirty washcloths when we check in then when they cleaned our room they left the cleaning supplies! Also don’t use the shuttle to go the the water park just drive we were stranded for a very long time! And different staff telling us to go to different places to be picked up!

This is my second time here at the Lodge on business. What a beautiful place! The rooms and personnel were top notch! Nikki, Ann and Chuck were my bar tenders/wait staff. I absolutely loved them. Everyone was very courteous, friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place for business or pleasure! Thank you for making me feel at home away from home.

This place is in a wonderful location. Lake Lanier is gorgeous and the usland itself is beautiful. The rooms here really aren't anything special, but they were clean and housekeeping was not intrusive. The only reason I could not give this place 5 stars was due to the paper thin walls this hotel has. There was also a group of loud, obnoxcious drunk people at the pool during the pools quiet hours. The employees just ignored them instead of politely asking them to quiet down.

Nice lodge, and fantastic grounds. Makes for a nice weekend. Great for kids l, as the water park and outdoor activities are a blast. The breakfast buffet was incredible, as the food and service was excellent. We ate this restaurant each morning we stayed and the staff remembered our orders.
