Republic Services Newnan Transfer Station

Area is a disaster and unsafe, front desk worker extremely impolite, no information that one must have safety vest and hardhat to dump your items yourself ($10 to buy though) and cost is starting at $87 no matter what items. Seems to be fraudulent pricing to responsibly dispose of items, other than in house garbage (that probably ends up in the same place).

Tried calling this place several times, no answer. Could have saved me a trip if they would have just picked up the phone. County website advertised $30.00 for bulk trash (which is twice the minimum for the County transfer station) but that apparently is not the case. They wanted to charge me $87.00. I laughed and left. They are taking advantage of the fact the County transfer station burned down for sure. Do NOT recommend.

Weight station employee was 1 hour late to work. They lost a lot of business as cars gave up waiting. The weight station employee was deep in conversation on her phone and got really aggravated when I couldn't hear her because of the loud machines near by. No apologies for being late. No employee or prisoner would tell me why she wasn't on duty. Paid $30 dollars to wait for an hour and dump my trash. Do not go here. It's the worst.

Service has been terrible since moving into my home in PTC over a year ago. There other options for trash pickup and this terrible company is the most expensive. Use Pollard or Waste Industries instead. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I cannot emphasize enough. The reviews are accurate. 1 star is generous.

1 because 0 isn't an option. You don't like my review don't pick up my trash only when I call to complain. 3 weeks and is still sitting out. The time before that was a month the time before 2 weeks and yeah. I've been at this address since last July they picked up my trash 4 times.

Worse service I've ever received with a company. In November 2017 the wheel of the pail came off and ended up in the truck. I've called every Monday since November 1st. They promised that the new pail would be here on Friday. Today is February 21,2018 and I still do not have a new pail. Because there is no wheel, the pail has stayed at the end of my driveway for 3 months. One time, they had the nerve to tell me that they came by and couldn't find the broken pail. What at lie since it can't roll anywhere. I have finally had enough and quit that company. If you are smart, DO NOT USE THEM. THEY LIE.

I bought a house and precious owners used republic. I have been trying to get republic to pick up there trash and recycling cans for almost a month since we went with a different service. They have the worst customer service I have ever seen.

I'm only giving one star because 0 is not an option. If you are looking for a waste company to service your business, THIS IS NOT THE ONE! They do not care what your business hours are or what days your business is closed. They expect you to accommodate their schedules and their routes, instead of accommodating their customers needs. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS YOU CAN GET. YOU WILL ONLY BE FRUSTRATED AND DISAPPOINTED in their"SERVICE". OR LACK THERE OF.
