Roses Discount Store reviews
3Roses discount store in Dalton Ga, is a convenient way to save money on items such as cleaning products and some home decor. My experience in this particular store was an 8 out of 10 until an unexpected situation occurred. My husband and I entered the store for our usual weekend restock, during check out my husband and I was made to feel uncomfortable by the cashier handling our transaction. Later that evening my husband recieves an encounter with the cashier over social media. Amy Thomason Wood, the cashier who checked us out took my husband's name from his debit card and looked him up on Facebook where she then stalked his pictures and posts. After he and I both confronted her, she continued to try and reach out to him. I contacted this store and they defended her soliciting herself to her customers. What pondered on my mind is this women is also married. It's sad you can't trust a cashier to run your debit card without them stalking your husband. I'm not sure what job training in this store consist of but stalking probably wasn't a step to take.
Really great staff. I needed assistance in furniture, and they helped me and even loaded up my furniture.
Like most discount stores, many items are occasional so you cannot depend on them for always finding what you need. But the store is always clean and well organized, the staff is polite and helpful, and they are always having a great selection of clothing items at a fraction of their original price. I don't think that lower prices can be found but only in thrift stores and maybe the occasional small local discount outlet.
Addition: I bought my body wash at Ollie's. At Roses it was 78% more. I bought my coffee at Roses. At Big Lots it was 76% more. I bought my air fryer at Big Lots. At Ollie's it was 90% more. Full circle? When I was a student in a financial University, nearly half a century ago, this was the definition of oligopoly.
