The Olive Tree Restaurant - Villa Rica reviews
20 Ive given this place 4 too many chances.
And its very unfortunate since i live just down the road and this place is convenient.
All of the food ive purchased here has lacked flavor and freshness.
Their food seems to always lack spice, and salt. Leaving it too bland to enjoy. Forcing me to take it togo and season at home.
Their desserts are ok. The tiramisu is beyond soggy. The lemon cake lacks lemon. But their chocolate lava cake is decent.
The pizza is over priced for what you get, the ingredients taste old and the bread stale.
You might as well drive to Douglasville and use the extra gas.
Please put more love into your food @olivetree ….
Checked this place out cause we were looking for something different for dinner. Staff was great as soon as we walked in the hostess was friendly and got us seated as fast as she could. Waiter (Gahnon) was so knowledgeable about the dishes and gave us honest opinions on all the dishes we enquired about. Settled on a shrimp scampi and a pizza "the olive tree special", based on waiters recommendation, we split 2 of the desserts as we couldn't agree on which one to have and got the tiramisu and the limoncello cake. Both were good, but the limoncello was light and perfect for after eating a big heavy meal. The Gyro plate looks delicious and I can't wait to go back and try it along with some of the other options in the menu.
A hidden gem on the outskirts of Atlanta. You won't be disappointed with either the food or the service here. This is definitely a must-stop if you're on I-20 just West of Atlanta.
Food was authentic
Service was great
A touch of classy atmosphere, with dimmed lights and a uniformed staff.
However, the place is outdated though. A good modern renovation and it would be the best greek/Italian eatery this side of Atlanta.
I have been dining at this restaurant for years. It used to be amazing, but unfortunately the service, food, and value have fallen way below acceptable levels. The last few visits, the food was improperly prepared, the portion sizes were a lot smaller, and prices have continued to rise. It is not worth the trip for us anymore but I will miss the way it used to be.
Thank you to management for reaching out to me, I truly appreciate your consideration and concern.
Excellent food prepared traditionally, staff was very courteous and friendly, would definitely recommend and will absolutely be going back again!
Mike was amazing with the drinks, got to try his Italian Martini, and just an amazing person. Bev was on point with our order and super awesome person. We have found our place. And the food, OMG SUPER great. MUST GO!
Had the grilled chicken salad. Very tasty. Was there courtesy of my boss, who held a managers meeting for us here. Waitress was very unobtrusive and kept an eye on those needing beverage refills.including me and l had water!
What an incredible place. The lady and I have wanted to try this place for awhile and I’m so glad we did. The food is incredible. Best crab cakes I’ve had in at least 10 years. The best part was definitely the atmosphere though, and that’s so hard to achieve nowadays. It had such a welcoming feel to it all. Very clean and tidy. You also quickly notice the place is fully staffed, which if you go to enough restaurants you realize how important that is. All the waiters, cooks, and hosts seemed so relaxed and comfortable, while also very knowledgeable and professional. The desserts are amazing too. I could go on and on… Just give it a try if you’ve been thinking about it.
The food is so delicious and they were able to accommodate my preferences. The decor and atmosphere is quite comfortable and the service was impeccable. Anthony treated me like I was a favorite member of the family. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want a tasty meal in a comfortable setting.
Loved the food service and atmosphere. I could actually have a conversation with my friends. Lindsay was the perfect server.
Delicious, clean, and authentic Greek and Italian food. I was passing through town and didn't have high expectations of this type of cuisine in a small town in GA. Boy was I taken surprise to find it excellent!
They have a huge menu to choose from. I highly recommend them. Head and shoulders above the other to be nameless Italian restaurant chain.
First-time customers dining at the Olive Tree in Villa Rica. It was a very nice experience. The server [Jordan] was very good. The food was great, the live music was entertaining, and Mike (the owner) was cordial and made me feel like we had known each other for years.
We will be back!
Our server, Kennedy, was absolutely fantastic. The food was amazing and the iced tea was some of the best I’ve ever had. Five stars isn’t enough in my opinion!
My Mom and I go often. My Mom recently got done with cancer treatments. (so far so good), Olive Tree in Villa Rica was our go to place after her treatments. Your servers are great, we can’t get enough of your food. Your restaurant will always be in our memories as our go to place. Thank you for the great service and delicious food every time.
You get what you expect here. Positives are nice ambiance and good service. The food is fine, but not spectacular. My salad was decent but the gyro meat on it was dry, overcooked, and waaaaay too salty. Plentiful parking outside makes it easy to arrive and leave.
The Olive Tree in Villa Rica our family's favorite restaurant. They treat you like family and offer amazing, made-to-order dishes, a great wine selection and personal service. Honestly they have spoiled me for all other Italian and Greek restaurants because they set the bar. Their chicken piccata is my go-to dish, our favorite wine is the Baron Fini Pino Grigio, the rolls and their handmade house dressing! We had our son and daughter-in-law rehearsal dinner in their private room and it was perfect.
Great food! I had the veal parmesan which was cooked perfectly. Enjoyed a nice Pinot Grigio (Barone Fini) with the meal. Topped it off with a wonderful tiramisu and coffee.
Wonderful service and ambience. Can’t wait to come back!
We got the private room as a family this time but we have eaten at the Olive Tree many times. The food is always amazing, the service is perfectly timed and the atmosphere is calm and soothing. The owner creates a restaurant where you feel like you are eating with family. I would recommend any of the 3 locations and I am partial to the Greek food but all of the food is very tasty.
