Telephone Company Verizon reviews
16THIS PLACE IS RIDICULOUS! I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR A REPRESENTATIVE FOR OVER AN HOUR JUST TO FIND THE VALUE OF AN IPHONE WITH TRADE IN, AND A CASE! THAT’S IT! RIDICULOUS! SEVERELY UNDERSTAFFED!
Run far away! Horrible customer service. Went there to get 2 Iphone Pros. Watched a lady storm out because she had been waiting over an hour. Watched another woman literally in tears on the phone with her bank or credit card company explaining that Verizon was telling her they hadn't received a payment while her bank was showing a $1,000 payment. She was telling her bank that the manager wouldn't even come out & speak with her, but rather kept sending a girl out to relay messages back & forth. Meanwhile, we got the pricing for our 2 pro phones and paid the initial payment. When the phones came in, they were Pro Max phones. Cheryl had ordered the wrong phones. We took the phones in & explained what happened. After again waiting for over 45 minutes, we were told we would have to take the wrong phones home & wait for a box to return them. Cheryl & the manager told us they absolutely could not take the phones back for us. Instead, we had to place a brand new order in addition to this incorrect order. No apology - nothing. You guessed it - no box ever came. So I called Verizon customer service and was told this store absolutely should have taken our wrong phones back! He even called the store himself to confirm. So now we have to go back yet again to this not helpful store, wait a ridiculous amount of time for service, & explain that they must take the phones back & clear our account. Yep - our account is in bad standing because of the phones we didn't order so we can't even activate our correct phones until this is straightened out. Not expecting an apology since we didn't get one the first time the wrong phones were ordered. Again - run far far away! If you're looking for customer service, do not come here. There is no value put on your business, your time, or you as a person. Incredibly frustrating knowing going in you're getting ready to waste part of your day - again. And no one there cares one bit.
My husband and I came here on Black Friday to switch our phones from my dad’s plan to our own. First of all, what’s the point of having a store if every time we need something done we have to call Verizon from inside their store? ! A sales women walked up and asked what we were there for and I told her about starting our own plan and possibly getting new phones depending on what kind of deals they had going on, and she literally laughed. My husband got off the phone and asked what kind of deals they had today (remember it was Black Friday) and she goes, “none for you. ” Apparently they only do deals if you’re a new customer. So we walked out, went across the street to AT&T and will never go back to Verizon. They’re always rude. If I could give zero stars, I would.
Excellent service. We entered right at closing unknowingly. Our rep still took the time to help us without rushing us through. Great
First off I do not write reviews or commendations unless I believe the person sincerely deserves one. Today I was having an issue with my cell phone and drove to the Verizon store in Woodstock, Georgia. I was greeted right away by Cheryl and explained the problem I was having. Cheryl, for a good forty five minutes, patiently worked and resolved the problem. The overall experience with Cheryl restored my faith in customer service and reaffirmed the reason I continue to stay with Verizon for as long as I have. My message to Verizon management is for you to think about rewarding Cheryl in some special way to keep her working for you. Pay raise or promotion would be nice. She deserves it! Thank you.
Quintin (spelling) was informative and efficient in assisting with my needs during my visit to this location! Thanks!
The store manager at the Woodstock store he was awesome. But the ones that are from the Cartersville store are useless if they hate their jobs that bad find another place to work. I would suggest go anywheres but the Cartersville store.
Bought a new phone with accessories. Tried to put on screen protector, only to find out they sold me one for the S20, not the S21+ that I purchased. Tried calling the store to verify they had the right one before driving back and all I get is a computer message talking to me at a "STORE FULL OF PHONES" Horrible service! If I call one of your stores directly, I deserve a person on the other end! Not a message!
The staff was very nice and even held the door open, which was very helpful since I walk with a cane. The person I spoke with was very patient and helpful. Sadly, as with everyone dealing with tech these days, they are very short on stock, and the phone I wanted was on backorder.
They were very helpful. Had trouble pulling up recent purchases. The man helping me was very nice.
Korey saved the business! My family and I received three new phones when we moved from AT&T to Verizon. The transfer was a mess. We weren't at all happy as we became phoneless when AT&T switched off and Verizion wouldn't come on our new phones. My mother went to the Woodstock store and Korey sat with her and worked through the issue. After a new sim card all was well. I went to the store that evening and he remembered my mother's phone problem and was able to resolve mine within 15 minutes.
I chose to go to a corporate store rather than a franchise. So far, my multiple experiences at this location have exceeded my expectations.
Highly recommend not coming here. Not only that, but Verizon Corporate told us this as well after our experience.
Went to this location as we wanted to leave Sprint since they merged with T-Mobil. Met with the associate there and he showed us the black Friday deal they had where if you port over your line you get a $300 rebate applicable to your bill and if you trade in your phone you get a credit for the phone. This all sounded great. We got the Start unlimited plan and traded in our phones and upgraded to new ones.a couple weeks passed and our bill was extremely high.turned out that our plan "SOMEHOW" got switch to the "Do More Unlimited". We got this all fixed through customer service over the phone which was Very difficult. Next we find out the rebate was not eligible for the original Start Unlimited Plan we had signed up for and were sold on by this associate. Went in the store (as instructed by customer service) and the associate was there working so we just went to the manager. This manager I believe his name is Manny took no responsibility for this fraudulent sale his associate had performed. He stated all he could do is run our issue up to customer service (Which we have been doing for weeks now) finally we called corporate and told them what had happened and we had proof of the sale and everything the associate sold us on. Verizon made it right and got us fixed up. DO NOT GO TO THIS VERIZON LOCATION. I would recommend audio recording your sales interactions as well and double check the screen before you sign the agreement for what you are purchasing (This is what we did). It's clear that the "manager" of this place is not trustworthy and extremely lacks any customer service skills or compassion. Not only that, but this was fraud. Verizon also stated they recommend doing all sales and purchases over the phone through their services to avoid locations and people like this.
I went in on January 20th at around 3: 30-4pm and I was talked to in a very condescending way by the lady who helped me at the back desk. I was told by Verizon to come in to complete a purchase in-store just for the lady to talk down to me and tell me that I was in fact, incorrect. I was trying to explain the situation and she acted as if I was inconveniencing her by her being there. Really unpleasant experience in the customer service area. I work in customer service every day, and I know that my store delivers the very best, but this was kind of unacceptable. It is already a stressful process and having rude staff makes me want to switch carriers.
By far the quickest and easiest experience that I’ve had at a Verizon store. Derek was super friendly and professional. Thank you!
Friendly and helpful staff. Thankfully I don't get a condescending vibe when I ask questions here. Thanks
