Walmart Supercenter, Athens GA

Sometimes food is picked over and nothing us left on the shelves. Especially on Sundays. The grocery pick up is convenient when they get your order right. We have had several occasions where items were not in our order that we placed, and no substitute was added.

I love this place. You can find almost anything you want. I love to do crafts. Got it. I like to try new weird food. Got that too. They don't have everything, but if you can't find it, someone will help you. The only problem is that the store is so big it can be a hike. But now that I am over 60 I solved the problem: I ride a cart.

Tricky to find your way through the huge store but associates are eager to answer any questions. Lines move very fast

I like walmart. They are everywhere, have lots of things most households need at an okay prices. And, as a truck driver, they let you pack in they lot overnight when you can't find a safe place to spend the night.

I like shopping at Wal-Mart, its prices are low, and you find the things your looking for. Keep your prices down.

Always a good experience. The pharmacy staff is absolutely the best I've ever worked with. They are the greatest!

Surprisingly quick service at auto for key copys and same at fabric-cutting table! In and out in about 25 minutes with checking out twice! (Only 3 days until Christmas on a Saturday afternoon! Amazed.)

Unless you go to the back door at the garden center, where service is leaps and bounds above, this walmart has the worst service ever. I have spent hours in here loooking like i need help and never been spoken to by an employee other than to ask me to get out of the way so they can stock a shelf.

The store has a good customer service staff.they helped me find everything that I wanted to get. Thanks, Ken Ross

I was put on hold 6 times for at least 15 min each time tried calling back and was treated like I was an inconvenience to them so I will no longer have my oil in my cars changed here nor do my grocery shopping at all my family and I as well as other customers should not be treated this way it’s very unprofessional

I have had some good and some bad experiences here but mostly good. I usually find what I need except in electronics phone selections I wanted have been out whenever I go to buy a phone.
The grocery section is really good, and beats most I've been in. I had to ask for a manager once in the meats section, and she was very helpful.
Clothing options are very good, as well as the home goods. I've never had a bad cashier, always friendly and courteous!

The assistant manager KATHY (regular associate with a title) was very rude. Luckily she caught me on my "Good Day". The gentleman in the electronics dept was very nice and helpful. Wish I knew his name.

Walmart is Walmart. This is the smaller of the two that are located within 10 miles of each other. Usually if you can't find something at this one you can go to the one across town. What's your prices so, Walmart changes the prices on different items based on the financial situation of the neighborhood and the possibility of shoplifting

Girl at self checkout was acting like everyone was trying to steal from the store. Not a good attitude to deal with first thing in the morning. LOL

Generally the items I buy here are ok however in the past 2 weeks 3 separate produce items I have bought only to notice that they are already rotting when I get home, or start to grow mold within 24 hours of bringing them home. I would suggest thoroughly checking any produce bought here and using it IMMEDIATELY. I however will not be buying my produce here anymore. I bought mushrooms yesterday for thanksgiving, I thoroughly checked them at the store however as I am prepping for tomorrow I notice they are extremely slimy already and had to throw the whole batch away.

Kind of a sad Walmart. Some of the higher end products seem to be missing. But the bus goes right to the door.

I'm diabetic and on numerous occasions I've inquired about why no Diet Root Beer is available both to the department manager and to an assistant manager. The department manager informed me that's because it doesn't sell. That is a common flavor and atleast 1 brand should be carried. Also when items run out of stock it takes forever for them to restock them. A case in point is David & Sons Jumbo Sunflower Seeds, they've been out of stock for 3 weeks now. Last but not least is a problem that occurred shortly after I was released from the hospital after hip replacement surgery. I was using new walker which still had the tags on because my walker The Veterans Administration was sending was late in arriving and the hospital had loaned me 1 (I was trying to keep it in pristine condition to return it). I was rudely yelled at and detained at the door by a store detective for stealing the walker. NO WALKERS ARE EVEN SOLD AT THAT WAL-MART! Not even a feeble apology was offered. In hindsight I should have sued them. If I could afford to shop elsewhere I would. This Wal-Mart is just awful. The Walmart on Epps Bridge Parkway is much better, they even carry 3 brands of Diet Root Beer. If I wasn't a caregiver for my 94 Mom I would go out of my way & shop there.

First time there and it wasn't easy finding stuff but I kept looking and I found the things I needed. It was good exercise to.

I mean it’s Walmart who doesn’t like Walmart. I really like the order online pickup in store option it’s so quick and easy!

They should have someone keep check on the parking for pick up. I have sat and waited on my husband and seen car after car just park and shop. The pick up spots are NOT to use while you shop!
