Ala Moana Center reviews
18 If you want to shop in Hawaii, this is the place
When I went there, it was really spacious.
There was a koi pond and it was relaxing
very
It's so vast that I couldn't cover it all in one day.
The top floor of the 3rd floor is open, so I was able to comfortably enjoy shopping while feeling the Hawaiian breeze
It feels great to see the friendly smiles and welcoming staff at every store.
Along the way, we bought Kona coffee and Hawaiian tea as souvenirs, which was fun
This time, I didn't have time to visit everything, so I'll save it for next time
There are so many different shops that you can't stop visiting no matter how many times you come. If you take the Waikiki Trolley's Pink Line, you can get a one-day ticket for $5/person.
Today we found a limited edition Omega and Swatch limited edition model in Japan!
This is a shopping mall that Japanese people always visit. Please check the latest information before going as there may be changes. Parking is free.
Since it is held from breakfast time, it can be used for a strategy meeting for Ala Moana shopping.
The place is full before it opens at 10am.
Enjoy Hawaiian breakfast
This ala moana has a decent amount of parking spaces for a shopping center. There are a good mix of retail shops and restaurants. The shopping options are definitely high end. The center is three to four levels in height. The center may seem confusing to navigate.
The largest outdoor mall in the world with over 350 shops. It's huge and there are so many shops that it's easy to lose track. But it's worth a visit. Really great
Perhaps the best and biggest open air mall in the Pacific, everything you want in one big place, take your time this could be a long day.
While here, do not miss the food court it's the go to for food of dozens of different countries and favorites. Plenty of free parking available all around the mall. Nothing but prices are very high now, shop with caution and compare with other stores.
Get your check books ready, you will not leave this mall empty handed unless you're window shopping.
What a great place for shopping. All the big name stores! All the local named places. Fabulous food court. Great parking. Everything is there! Loved it! Even shaved ice and ice cream! Tesla too!
The crossroads of the world. Nice place to sit and watch the world go by. Great shopping and a diverse clientele for those interested.
I heard good things about this shopping center. Upon arrival in Hawai it was the first thing I did. I stoped there for lunch before checking in in our hotel. I haven’t been around the stores. I visited the food court and I parked my car in there.
Plenty choices for food but mainly Asian food restaurant (Chinesse, Thai, Indonesia, etc)
Decent choices. Very high prices. Expected because it’s a tourist spot.
What I disliked tremendously is the cleanliness around the parking lote and around the entrances to the restaurants. It’s bad. You can tell they haven’t clean this area in a long time. This is the first thing you see when you go out of the car before even going inside.
Consider cleaning this area. No a good presentation going there.
This is a VERY big mall and for this 70+-year-old, getting around is daunting. There is a lovely koi pond. You will find every store on the planet at this mall, from Walmart to Chanel and every other high-end outlet. I busted Target and the Lanai food court. I regretted the food, as it was low quality, but there are many food outlets, so some are bound to be good. The mall us east to get to by bus.
Excellent range of shops and food hall outlets. This place is so big it could do with a Google street view walkthrough to aid the shopping experience.
Similarly an augmented VR navigation would help for the newer visitors.
Convenient location within walking distance of Waikiki and has excellent transport options.
Very big and spacious. Lots of shops, restaurants and people. As we exit ABC shop, we saw people gathering at the stage. So we joined the crowd. Luckily, we did not miss the event, - presentation of Polynesian dances. We enjoy the show. Really a great day spent.
It's always an absolute blast. Shopping here, you are certainly spoiled with so many great choices.
This mall is as good as any but the bathroom on the third floor has hardly had soap in months (gross). Only one out of four sinks has had soap in the handful of times I’ve been here in the last few months. Two of the sinks don’t even have soap dispensers.
You’d think a mega corporation like Brookfield Properties could at least manage to meet the minimum standard for hygiene.
Very large shopping center with a diverse selection of shops and restaurants. Good connection to buses.
Multi-level shopping. Dining at three food courts. High-end and Asian specialty shopping, drinks, and dining.
Across from beautiful Ala Moana Beach Park
A few blocks away from Ward Theaters
Great place to get your steps in, and pet friendly too
