Anini Beach Park Campground reviews
15Camper here for one night and had a great experience. Awesome beaches on either side. Very safe. Very comfortable. Bathrooms were actually immaculate.
This is our second visit to this beach but my daughter left her prescription snorkeling mask on a rock by the parking lot. No one else can use it so if you have it please return it to us. Thank you
Price was awesome but we didn't arrive until after dark so it was challenging to find our spot. Ended up forgoing setting up our tent and slept in the car. The chicken/ roosers started crowing at 3am.needless to say we did not sleep great.
Water/ little Beach was beautiful!
It's a lovely campground with good beach access. There are restrooms and a freshwater rinse but no showers.
Excellent campground. The reef is super accessible and this is a fantastic snorkel beach. Really happy we stayed here our last few days.
Pull in and set up a tent anywhere. I'd suggest staying a little ways back from the coast itself or the ocean may join you in your tent at night.
Washrooms are well stocked and trash is collected daily, but the toilets themselves aren't maintained the best. There is also no rules enforcement on the camp grounds so people do what they want. That includes dogs in the park (not allowed at any county campground) or people setting up full sound systems so that everyone can hear their music into the night.
Can't beat the price of course, but you'll be inconvenienced in a few ways while staying there. Plan accordingly and it'll be worth the savings.
Big beautiful campground. Very shady, which is very pleasant in summer, and nice & cool in the winter. No showers, at least no private ones. I suggest a bar of soap shower im a swimsuit at the freshwater rinse.
Homeless folks keep to themselves.
FYI there are big ant colonies near the trees under leaf litter. I set up my whole rainfly before realizing this - set up either in the grass or near the sandy beach slope.
Amazing and cheap campground! The toilets are clean, there is a beautiful beach, the ocean is good for swimming or snorkeling and there are outdoor showers. We stayed for 3 nights and i fully recommend this place, we felt safe there
The whole area is stunning, the water is beautiful and the coral reef is exciting if you get to snorkel there you will be really blessed!
The only bad part was that I had gotten a really bad sunburn on my lower legs and feet the day before, so I had to stay in the shade for most of the day and didn't get to cool off in the water as much as I would have liked to.
Very crowded, not enough restroom for that many campers. But for 3$ a night, hard to beat. If you're tight on budget, it's perfect. Otherwise I'd rather go at Kumu Camp, not that far away and better IMO.
A lot of space, windy, clean bathrooms with mirror, potable water and outdoor shower. A lot of people camping there (tourists and local families) and we felt safe.
Loved this campground! Great sites, lots of families camping, quiet after 10ish, and decent bathrooms. The location was great for north shore activities. So close to restaurants and hiking trails. The beach was also amazing for snorkeling.
The spot is beautiful. You can camp next to the beach and ocean. The bathrooms are surprisingly not that bad and the showers are beach showers (the one you use to wash your feet after a day at the beach). We were two young women and we felt in general safe. However, there is a clash between tourists and Hawaiian population living there. We talk to very nice persons but we were also yelled at by a rude women because we wanted to install our tent too close to her. Also, it is noisy. The chickens are tolerable but a fight happened all night while we were there. It was a lot of screaming. In brief, it is a nice experience but you need to be prepare to be woke up and disturbed!
