We booked Ann for our babymoon photoshoot on The Big Island. I saw her beautiful work on Instagram and was lucky she was available for the time we were there. She was quick with communication and planning for the shoot which is excellent when you are booking from the mainland. I also loved that she sent us recommendations for her favorite activities and restaurants around the island. Despite never meeting prior to our shoot she made us feel so comfortable as if we had met before. Her work is incredible, I cried when I opened up the photos! She captured the beauty of the island in all of our photos. Do not hesitate to book Ann if you are in search of a photographer!

We were in tears with how perfect our wedding day photos turned out. It rained quite a bit on our wedding day - didn’t make a difference for us, as we enjoyed every minute of it - but we were worried how our photos would turn out. Ann is a phenomenally talented photographer - working her magic throughout the evening and taking advantage of every bit of scenery and lighting opportunity.

My husband and I have never had professional photos taken - and were honestly a bit concerned with how we pose and show our love on camera with someone we had never met in person. Ann immediately made us feel comfortable. She guided us through golden hour with ease, having fun with us, and helping us showcase how much we truly love each other - and you can truly see that show itself in our photos.

We hired Ann Ferguson as our photographer for our two night wedding celebration in August 2023 in Kona, Hawaii.   Ann was very professional on our introduction call. She was also flexible in scheduling the timing of her services to meet our desires and wants for photos. I wanted to focus more on the staged family shots and so we created a package and schedule that catered to us. Ann was familiar with both of our venues, Papa Kona and Royal Kona.   She was on time, polite to all the guests and organized.   Our photos turned out great and we got them back to us sooner than we expected!   I really appreciated that she sent us 'sneak peak' photos just a couple of days after the ceremonies! We would definitely recommend Ann!

We had a fun family session with Ann this summer! She is an amazing photographer, was really great with the kids. We are all very impressed with the gallery she sent over in less than two weeks. We have so many phenomenal photos and very excited to have them on our walls!

First, Ann’s photos of our family are absolutely stunning and we couldn’t be happier with our final product! From start to finish Ann was phenomenal to work with. To start, she helped us pick a perfect location for us (she worked with what we wanted aesthetically for the photos and the fact we were traveling with our 14 month old baby who doesn’t like to drive long distances) and helped guide us in what colors and types of clothing would look best in our photos. She checked in to make sure everything was set and we knew where and when to meet her and let us know exactly what to expect once we got to our location (if you have or have traveled with a toddler, you’ll know - this is very important to know). We had a wonderful family session on the beach at sunrise with Ann and she helped get us settled/relaxed during the session - she also made sure to get shots with all combinations of our family. She gave us tips and recommendation for the rest of our stay on the Big Island as well which were wonderful! Many mahalo’s and aloha’s to Ann! We will definitely do more sessions with Ann on our future visits to beautiful Hawaii.

Ann is truly amazing! Her work is really beautiful - like the ENTIRE gallery is great, but she's also a really awesome person to spend the day with! She made us feel very comfortable and guided us through natural posing. I knew from the first phone call that she was the perfect fit for us on our big day. Her energy is bubbly yet calm and made every call and our wedding day relaxed and fun. I also really love her true, but vibrant editing style. She really embraces the natural landscape, making our wedding photos that much more stunning. I am truly over the moon every time I look at our pictures! I cannot recommend Ann enough! Photography was the thing I cared about most for my wedding, so I booked Ann before I even decided on a venue. When I told Ann I was planning the wedding myself and didn't know where to start, especially since I'd never been to Hawaii, she went above and beyond to help me in planning the venue and photo locations, planning a timeline, answering my questions, and even gave me a recommendation for an officiant. When the wedding came, Ann had tons of ideas and directed us throughout the photoshoot, exactly as I hoped. Finally when I got the photos. They are by far the best photos of me I'll ever have, but more than that, they are stunning artworks. My sister called them "desktop backgrounds" because they were that beautiful, and that was despite the weather being pretty grey that day. I couldn't be happier! Thank you Ann!

Absolutely flawless, bright, and beautiful photos. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Ann. She reached out to my husband and I before booking and answered any and all questions we had about our timeline and pricing. We loved her past work and how personable she was. In the months before our big day she made sure we were on the same page with every photo we wanted (so great because you WILL forget on your wedding day). Her organization was very appreciated. On our wedding day, she worked her butt off to get all the pictures we had asked for in our time frame. I am still in awe at the amazing photos she took, and ask myself how she did it all herself with no partner. She's has a gift. Highly recommend her as a photographer!

Ann Ferguson is an incredible photographer who helped us capture the moment perfectly, even during a rainy sunset session. Her talent for posing people and making them look authentic really shone through, bringing out the best in us, even the goofy parts. I'm grateful for the opportunity to work with someone as professional as Ann for our maternity session. As someone who's not usually comfortable in front of the camera, she led me on how to pose (highlighting my baby bump) and made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire shoot. Ann was really great to work with. She was easy to reach through her website and SUPER responsive to emails and questions. She had great advice for clothing choices and location options. She also gave guides for restaurants and activities on the Big Island. She made the session feel really comfortable/not awkward and was very patient with our daughter during the shoot. She captured some incredible shots of our daughter and family. I felt her prices were reasonable and she gave us so many photos with a quick turn around time. We made the incredibly bold decision in the middle of the pandemic to do a destination wedding in Hawaii, we truly had no idea how much would be thrown our way. The biggest of course being that about 10 months out our wedding photographer had to back out due to personal reasons. We went right away to do a search. I was looking for something really specific, because my wedding dress wasn’t white, and our decorations were fairly minimalistic so I was looking for a photographer who could really bring the colors. I called Ann and within minutes of submitting a request she called back, explained her process and we got a date on the calendar. She answered any crazy question I had right up until the day of the wedding, and then she was ABSOLUTE magic! The whole day I felt supported, like I was getting all the shots I had asked for. She delivered the photos so quickly after the wedding and even took a portrait of each of us individually which was SO special. She captured all of the perfect moments of our very special day, and I believe she did it with her whole heart in it. And because of that we have memories we can treasure forever!

If you are thinking even for a moment to consider someone else, don’t. She’s the best, and worth every penny spent.

Ann is a wonderful photographer that somehow captures beauty and magic amongst chaos. Even with an active toddler that had no desire to have their picture taken and in a place with many other people enjoying the sunset and photo sessions, I was amazed at how much she was able to capture of our family in the short 30 minutes. Ann was in frequent conversation, easy to reach and had great recommendations for our session and our stay in Hawaii. Even when we thought we settled on a location, after visiting another beach we asked to change the day before our session and she easily accommodated us. Beautiful family pictures were turned over to us super fast and we couldn't be happier with our choice.

Ann was such a pleasure to work with! We did our engagement pictures with her on the Big Island, she recommended Kikaua Point Park which was perfect. From communication to receiving the pictures it was all amazing.
