Restaurant Auntie's Kitchen reviews
24Incredibly rude staff and terrible food. Went for breakfast with 4 year old son for his birthday. Decided to order off the menu. 30 minutes later our $20 dish arrived cold with rock hard eggs. The waiter proceeded to avoid our table for the next 15 minutes. I finally asked a waitress to bring him over as the eggs are really hard. The waitress proceeded to laugh as she told our waiter that the eggs were hard. They then charged me for the additional eggs which took a further 15 minutes to come. When I explained this the waiter said that he couldn’t do anything about the extra charge or the poor service.
Tried it for for breakfast with a voucher worth $27 not worth it! Even for free I wouldn’t go there. Service is ok, food is not good, waffles and pancakes are sad and saggy. Then tried them at the pool service, my Bloody Mary came with dirt, when I took it back since I couldn’t find the pool server, bartenders just made new one without any garnish or apologizes.
Covered outdoor dining with some emphasis on traditional Hawaiian food. Their coconut seafood stew is great and favorite dessert is coconut cake. Good breakfast buffet too.
Breakfast menus are around $18 but no worthy for the money. Serves starbucks coffee which I don't really like.
We had a really bad experience. Being person of color with kids was easy target for profiling. The food was below average but the service was horrible.
The food here is very bland and overpriced. The Westin should be embarrassed for having such poor quality service and product on one of their properties.
We were very pleased with the flavours, prices, and service at Auntie's Kitchen. They are very family friendly, and we were well attended to by Kim (our server) and other staff as well.
This is the prettiest plate of Katsu I've ever had, and our three year old's Keiki meal was free, which was a nice bonus.
Just a caution for those who may not be bird lovers: the birds here are very friendly and obviously used to the tourists because they do not hesitate to swoop in and peck off your plate!
The food was consistently good, we ate there multiple times during our stay. The breakfast is great as is the lunch. We did not join them for dinner but based on everything else we had I would assume it is just as good. The staff was really really good.
I wanted to like it, but two dishes did not arrive as ordered. The server was apologetic but it took 15 minutes to correct by which time the others in our party were well into their meals. The chicken Bahn Mi sandwich was very dry. The side salads and veggie burger were good.
The buffet was underwhelming. Disappointing for a Weston property. Looked like off the menu might have been prepared with a little more attention.
The buffet was not bad but they are still finishing the main place to eat so your kinda sitting right where every one checks in. Food is just okay and a bit on the pricey side.
I really hate giving places bad reviews. I will start with there food that was very disappointing. Also pricing was very high for such low quality food. Service was decent staff was very nice.
Excellent food! Fresh, flavorful each & every time we dined in the restaurant. Staff was more then accommodating and friendly. Would most definitely return on our next trip as we ordered different dishes each time and all were fantastic.
My experience here was pretty good - friendly waiters, good food, but unusually high prices for food that was excellent, but not super star quality.
There was nice atmosphere and setting in the Westin hotel, entertaining for all kinds of families. Not a bad place to go for a nice meal out near the beach.
FANTASTIC FOOD. Wife and I said we would eat at the resort restaurant once or twice. We ended up having 2 lunches and 2 dinners here and happy hour! Staff was great. Brought us chicken instead of shrimp for our lunch stir-fry and realized their mistake, brought us the right order and two more free beers to make up for it. Kudos.
Was there on sunday for breakfast. Buffet. Waited 15 minutes for a waitress finally 1 shows up then waited 15 more minutes for coffee and instead of leaving the pot of coffee she takes it back with her. So after 5 times of asking for coffee the wife went and helped her self. The buffet was horrible only had bacon, sausage patties, potatoes and watery scrambled eggs. Some cereal and some fruit. Not worth the money, time, or trip. Go anywhere else. Ihop is up the street.
The food isn't bad and the service is pretty good. I was pretty disappointed with the drinks. The frozen and fun drinks you look forward to enjoying in Hawaii left a lot to be desired. We didn't even finish our piña coladas. In general pretty average.
Good local food at resort poolside. So you pay tourist prices and do not eat on paper plates. You also get nice views of pool and tourists. Good service and was relaxing.
Food was great, prone generous, process are about what you expect on a resort. They have a good variety and it was pretty fast when went for an early dinner.
Ate twice here during our stay at Maui. Okay food. Convenient location if you are at the Westin. Doesn't have a beach view. Service staff was very kind, it just took quite a while to get our orders taken.
