I needed to get an ingrown toenails removed and he made the situation light and kept good conversation so I wouldn’t freak out:) made me feel comfortable and I trusted him to take care of me! The removal was quick and he was very informative on after care as well

Dr. Atilio Avino DPM Podiatrist is one of the best I have met in the western medical system. He certainly is attentive, thoughtful, and willing to listen to all of your advice/adjustments/complaints in using all of those personable skills he has he brings the best solution most possible. He has a certain gift as He has a certain gift as This is not common of other doctors. He has told me that being a doctor is a part of the customer service industry, which truly Surprised me as This is not my experience in Western medicine.

He took the time to talk to my son so he understood where and what was causing the pain in his foot.
My son even asked questions and he did not dismiss it but answered them. BTW my son is 12.
He also explained the condition to me as well and made sure we understood why he was recommending the treatment method he was using.

As a person that worked in the medical field years ago it was nice to see my son being treated like a patient and not a number of scheduled patients that come in for the day. His nice demeanor put my son at ease. My son says good choice for the foot doctor you made mom after the appt.now that touched my heart.

Despite a simple process for Dr. Avino, he paid great attention, was very friendly and explains things thoroughly in an easy to understand manner.
