Bamford Wellness Spa, Princeville HI

The spa is absolutely stunning. You can see the attention to detail throughout. I agree with the previous reviewer on several things - get there early to enjoy the amenities (and valet your car, etc.if you are not a hotel guest). Everyone that works there is lovely - but there are definitely still kinks to work out. The sound of the pipes during treatment was definitely distracting. And the snacks in the relaxation room leave something to be desired. But the little beds in there are very comfortable.
The service itself though - fantastic! Lauren did my facial and she was just lovely. My skin is still glowing a day later.
I know if I ever get the chance to return it will be a 5 star experience, once they work out the little new business kinks.

Absolutely stunning property and location.
The spa is beautiful, clean and everything from the robes, spa products to chairs and towels feels very high quality. You do not have to be a hotel guest to use the spa services.
The men’s and women’s rooms both have a steam and sauna which were lovely.
While waiting for the treatment you can go to their “relaxation room” which features low lighting, tea, snacks and lounging beds and chairs. I LOVED being in here before my massage. I had a little nap, sipped tea and felt I really had a chance to drop into my body before the treatment.
My massage was absolutely phenomenal- I loved every minute and felt very well taken care of. I did notice though not everything that was listed in the description was given during my time.
A couple of things to note -
I definitely recommend arriving early. Driving down past security and getting the car taken care of by valet does take some time. Additionally you fill out forms and get shown the space before being able to change and see your practitioner. I’d recommend getting there 30 minutes early.
My partner had a massage booked and there was confusion about what time it had been booked for. They couldn’t accommodate a different time so they rebooked him for a float. Unfortunately he did not enjoy the float - the same song was on repeat for an hour which he found irritating and distracting.
They did give a 25% discount for the confusion which I feel was very accommodating and generous.
There does seem to be some kinks they are working out regarding booking people in for correct times and services. Additionally important to note there are pipes banging during treatment. It did not bother me but it did my partner.

I would 100% recommend coming here and indulging in some deep relaxation and self care. Definitely give yourself a half or full day so you can fully take advantage of the amenities.

Larissa and Deena were absolutely amazing. This property is beautiful and I loved my stay here, but Larissa and Deena made my Salon visit a 10/10. I would definitely recommend booking with them if you are visiting the salon.

I had the most relaxing afternoon at the Bamford Spa and am grateful that it’s now an offering on the north shore! The environment is peaceful, all the staff very kind and they have the coziest lounge, massage table and robes. I received the B Silent Ritual Treatment with Ivon and it was one of the best body sessions I’ve had to date. The surprise flute of champagne in celebration of my birthday was also a sweet touch. So happy with my experience and will definitely be back!

Bamford Invigorating Body Polish was amazing! I love the products, and the staff and atmosphere are wonderful!

Bamford Wellness Spa is an organic wellness brand based in London/UK. All their products are sustainably packaged and top to the line. I’m a big fan of the Intuitive Herbal Healing Massage (90min) It uses 6 different topicals all sourced from Kauai Farmacy letting the Hawaiian medicinal plants do the magic! Full service salon, massage treatments, & estheticians. They also offer Infrared Sauna, Float Chamber, and soon Ice Bath, Cryotherapy, Hyberbaric Chamber.

This spa will forsure become a holistic beacon for all things wellness on the north shore of Kauai

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles by Aliyah and Lou and a relaxing atmosphere that instantly put me at ease. Our esthetician Lacy and Michelle were incredibly skilled and knowledgeable, and they took the time to customize the facial to our specific needs and skin concerns. The Spa attendant Dawn and Lou are friendly and take such good care of us.

The entire experience was so rejuvenating and left us feeling refreshed and renewed. We are so grateful for the care and attention we received, and I can't thank you enough for making my birthday extra special.

I will definitely be recommending your spa to all of my friends and family, and I look forward to visiting again soon.

Today I bought a selection of items in the spa shop. No prices were marked on anything. Once I came home, I found out how overpriced everything was. They charged $66.50 for the Prima Chill Chews which cost $38 on their website. They charged $26.25 for the Prima Unwind Bath Gem which costs $15 on their website. They charged $52.50 for the Life Flower Anxiety Elixr which costs $30 on their website. It’s one thing to add a small up-charge, but this seems like price gouging.
