Banyan's Island Grill, Honolulu HI

Out of the varied menu of Hawaiian dishes I had the BBQ chicken which was delicious. Highly recommend the place!

Could be great, but…my meal was just “good. ”
Had the burger and a large order of their fresh cut fries. The fries were perfectly cooked and are definitely fresh cut. Could have been great, but they need to change/clean the oil in the fryer. I could taste the old, used oil. The burger and bun looked amazing, the taro roll was well toasted and delicious. The large burger had good flavor and crust, fresh lettuce and tomato, but - it was well, well done. They didn’t ask how I wanted it cooked and I didn’t request medium, so maybe it’s my fault. Had it been less tough and cooked less, and had they added some acid to the burger (pickle, relish,) it could have been great instead of good.

The food here was good and cooked fresh. Good value for money on the grilled fish $20.70 and poke bowl $23.00 Water only $2.07

You have to sit outside in a car park so it loses a lot of appeal. You order at the truck and carry to the table. There are pigeons you have to keep brushing away.

I didn't see any toilets here.

The fresh fish of the day was Shutome. They cook said they don’t get it often and highly recommend it.
It was the BEST fish I have ever had! I ordered fish taco plate. It came with fresh cut fries, side salad and a slice of pineapple. Will definitely visit this food truck again!

Poke was fresh and soooooooo good

Beautiful, delicious, simple food perfectly executed. These guys know what they're doing. If you want some authentic Hawaiian flavors in this area (which is hard to come by, sadly) stop by Banyan's.

This is a food truck with a few parking spots and tables available to eat in the parking area. Gentleman taking orders and cooking was pleasant. We ordered fish tacos with fries, fish wrap and poke. The fish wrap was yummy and not served with fries. The fish tacos had a sauce and couple slices of jalapeño, along with fries. I found the tacos more plain than I prefer and fries were good but too salty for my family. Poke was good, not our favorite. Food was prepared when ordered. Perfect order for us would have been the fish wrap with miso sauce and veggies with a side of fries with much less sauce. Overall fair value and good service.

I was a bit skeptic about coming here, but my husband insisted and let me tell you — the fish tacos were phenomenal! Definitely recommend.

This is one of the best food curt food I have ever eaten. Their service was awesome. Their fish taco is simply A+

Grabbed a quick burger and fries and Makana suggested try dipping them with this honey mustard and or honey butter sauce and it was yummmm! Burger was super juicy on taro bun and grass fed so it was worth it! Definitely will come back to try more things! Thank you!

I like the food and the workers are very friendly.
The prices are good for the amount of food you get. I eat almost every day there at lunch

Got the Fish Wrap and was deeliciouss! Good amount of chardness and freshness and yummz ginger flavors.

Stumbled upon this gem after our massage. The fish taco was fantastic and the poke was so delicious. The service was phenomenal! This is a food truck. There's a sitting area as well! Highly recommended!

This spot was really great. Walkable, fresh and really friendly. I got the burger, it was solid and tasty, but nothing STANDS OUT about it flavor wise. Definitely cooked to perfection. I ordered one taco and glad I did. The taco was also cooked well, but again not super flavorful. I put the ginger dressing that comes with the greens on it, and that helped. I think a simple sauce switch will really bring the taco to life. All in all, I would recommend this place and I would try their other good items!

This place is definitely a must when you visit. The background music is a little less than desirable but the food is amazing

Really solid spot. The poke is one of my favorites. The fish sandwich has great quality fish. The staff is always so friendly and there are plenty of tables to sit and eat. It’s a must try when on the island!

Amazing! We got the fish taco plate. Tacos were great and the fries were so good. Ask for the island sauce for the fries! It’s so good.

Great spot for a quick bite across the street from the convention center. Delicious fries and chicken quesadilla. Definitely worth checking out for fresh authentic Hawaiian street food.

This is my new all time favorite to go spots. Super delicious quality food great atmosphere and great friendly service. Glad i foumd this gem
