Big Island Grill reviews
15Use to eat here all the time with dine in, rarely order takeout. If they open for dine in I'll return, that's why I gave 3 stars. Take out not the same
This place is the best! Delicious food and the best Mud Pie I have ever eaten in my entire life!
Beef teriyaki and amazing panko shrimp. Super fast and friendly staff. Hubby loved the grilled chicken and Kalua pork. Definitively recommend this place!
Love B. I. G! Only open for takeout as of today, but their drive thru is open for super friendly and convenient service. Been coming here for years and will continue to do so for many more, I'm sure.
This is our 5th trip to the Big Island with the last being 2 years ago. We found that some things have changed or are new but not the Big Island Grill! We've been twice already for supper and both times the service was fast, friendly and excellent! The food is great and portion sizes are huge! Prices have gone up a bit but that's to be expected. Still a bargain. Both nights were $35 for the two of us including tip but no dessert or drinks. I highly recommend the Loco Moco and the Beef Teriyaki.
This is not a flashy place; it's not on the beach. But if you want to go where the locals go, this is the place. The servings are large, the service is very friendly, and it's just fun to be there. We took one couple there for lunch the day they were leaving, then picked up another couple from the airport and went back. We only had dessert the second time.
Some of the best food on the island, and their drive-through is open for covid, which is perfect. I hope they keep it open because it's just so convenient for getting food to go.
We come from Australia every year to stay in Kona with out little girls. We like to support local and eat our breakfasts here near every morning.
The food is good, the service is EXCEPTIONAL, and the Aloha is real.
Good hard working people who treat you like family, can’t wait till Covid is done and we can get back.
Best Loco Moco ever (such good gravy.hands down the best gravy I've ever had on Loco Moco) and good fresh fish. Really friendly service and very reasonable prices. They take pride in their food.
This has become a regular for us on the big island.
Had loco moco at 3 places before finding this jewel and hands down best loco that I came across during my stay in the big island.
This place is just a couple blocks off the beach.it's a very comfortable family restaurant with really good fresh food.
This is where all the locals eat With their families in kids.
Hawaiian style, big plates. You're not gonna leave this place hungry, you're gonna leave this place with a Box or 2 of Togo food leftovers
A MUST for us, when we are in town! The Teriyaki is the best I've ever had. Fish & chips is awesome, Kahlua pork is incredible, everything is good! The staff are friendly, and it's good size, so usually can get in quick, with not much of a wait.
Best Hawaiian diner in the area. Friendly family kind of place. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
Oh my gosh it was so good! I had an omelet, hash browns, and a couple bites of pancakes and I ate it all. I usually have a hard time finishing three egg omelets, but it was just so tasty I mopped that whole thing! Would definitely go back.
Food was lukewarm and greasy. Nothing to write home about. I found a piece of glass in my food as I was chewing, which was disconcerting. The staff were incredibly nice and didn't charge me for that item.
