REGARDING SERVICE DEPARTMENT Have been a regular service department customer for multiple vehicles since 2014. Will not return, lack of communication, confusion and no return calls after leaving messages. Midas or a private shop would be cheaper, easier and better put together.

The workers are very kind. However, having to wait for my vehicle, I was able to ascertain that the waiting room had an extremely cold air conditioner which prevented its use. Outside a bench where you can sit. In full sun and without the slightest shade, in fact an authentic oven. Plus a tiny toilet to share with employees. Considering the hourly cost of Toyota services, I think we can legitimately expect more.

Mrs Monique Bush, one of the best customer service representatives I’ve met in Hawaii, courteous, professional and went above and beyond to help with my Toyota Corolla. Management: Mrs Bush is definitely corporate quality 5 ️ ️ ️ ️ ️

I like the experience I had at Big Island Toyota with Randy Acob. He was direct, he didn’t waste any of my time. I ended up coming back the next day and putting a deposit down for a vehicle. I am so pleased I met with Randy when I went to Big Island Toyota I feel like he is the right salesperson for my needs, and I look for to working with him.

Jarod and Lesley are great to work with. I just purchased my car from Jarod and he was so patient with me and showed me how to use all the features. He also helped me after the sale. I’ll be back.

We just dropped off and picked up a friend getting their truck worked on, but observed that it was a clean, well-kept dealership. Word is that they do good work most of the time.

Ripped off by this dealership.
Quoted $300 to program a little key fob (that takes a few minutes with their professional scan tool).
Was told that my genuine OEM key fob (that I had purchased from an official seller) was not actually OEM. This is 100% wrong, as I had done the research and scoured the internet for this item in particular, and made SURE it was OEM and not the cheap $20 ones you get on Amazon. Paid $60 for this key fob and this service department wanted me to pay an extra $130 for their "OEM" key fob.
I wasn't born yesterday. I know what I bought. This stealership knows they have a monopoly on the island.

In the end, the service department couldn't even program their "genuine" key fob! What a joke.
Ended up paying $80 for them to do absolutely NOTHING to my truck. -$80 to sit around for 2 hours.

Don't go here. Save yourself the hassle.

My horn didn't work. They charged $161 to tell me that it was the spiral cable clock spring and that the part was $1060! It didn't take much investigation to find that some mainland Toyota dealerships sell the OEM new part at about $260, though most are about $459. They are, to my mind, crooks. They won't let you bring in the new OEM part or a used part for install. Avoid them if you can.

By the way, I decided to buy an after-market one that sells for $25 and plan to install it myself. Lots of fine videos on how to do this.

I was in a time crunch driving over from Kona, and Blake helped me get in and out as soon as possible. - Mahalo
Considering the price paid, it Would have been nice to have got a oil change or tire rotation, since both were due on vehicle.but over all am happy with experience.

I swear I wouldn't even give this place 1 star. It took months to get the parts in then took 2 months waiting for the appointment to get a full tune up on the vehicle since it's a 8 hrs job. I dropped off my car early just for a woman to call me to tell me that my car won't be done that day since they didn't get it in the shop on time. How do you not get it in the shop on time when I had an appointment? Then they found a leak in the coolant hose. Long story short it's been 3 weeks with no car and the same answer. When I called last week they were getting the part that day and it should be done by Friday. A week later same story. I don't take it there for oil changes anymore since I had to turn around and take it to Lex Brodies a week later because they didn't change the oil I paid for. This place is a joke and a scam.

The service department really needs some organization. I've brought my vehicle in half a dozen times and almost every time, there's been a mistake on what was supposed to be fixed. On one occasion, I had to reply a small window in my car. I left my vehicle there for 2 weeks and when they called me to pick up the vehicle after repair was finished, they never did anything to the window. I am not sure why they kept my car for 2 weeks, which is a huge inconvenience for customers. The latest time I visited the service dept and dropped off the car at 8am, they called me at 2 pm to tell me that they've had no time to check the tires, change the oil, or anything else. I wish they would pay more concern to a customer's time, money, and vehicle.
