Blade & Timber - Honolulu Axe Throwing reviews
18Super fun place to have a drink and throw some axes. Lots of space, many lanes and able to call for reservations to save a spot.
It’s an interesting experience. The price is a bit on the higher side, especially considering that the price is per person and not per lane. Throwing axes is fun, but it would be nice if they showed you all of the ways to throw at the beginning. Our trainer came back halfway through to show us “trick throws, ” and one of them ended up working better for me overall than the standard throwing options.
I also think the staff members could be a bit more consistent. We stopped a staff member for tips partway through our session, and his (helpful) tips contradicted what our original trainer taught us.
Regardless, it’s nice to try out. The place was surprisingly empty given that we were there during what should have been peak hours, but that just means that it’s easy to get a reservation.
The axe throwing is fun but it takes 45 minutes to get drinks and food. Food is very over priced and not good.
An excellent place for a first date, just sayin'. ;p
Also ^^ thank you so much to John! His coaching skill is outmatched only by his friendliness!
Great place to go with friends and family. All the instructors are super friendly and helpful.
Kelly was beyond amazing.probably would not come back unless we met her here she was awesome at throwing an axe and showing us trick shots.should be running the show, and really knows how to run the place. 5 star treatment and service.will be back
Kelly the manager is the best. She showed us the basics and even hung out with us while we played. She is very friendly and gave us expert advice she made the whole time pleasurable.
Aloha! Looking for a FUN time while on island? Then try blade and timber. You throw axes and have a blast. They teach you everything you need to know and it is safe and the energy level is super positive and fun!
Lots of cool ax throwing games to play while hurling an ax at a target. Super cool!
John and kelly were amazing! For first timers to blade and timber axe throwing we had a lot of fun! We thank john for sharing with us some of his trick shots which gave my husband and our son the winning edge over us girls. We’ll definitely be back for more!
Who knew that throwing axes into a big piece of wood could be so entertaining!? Bring your friends.
It was awesome! We got our stall for 2 hours. I didn’t expect there to be food but there was - just finger food though. It wasn’t as busy because it was a weeknight. There’s a little photoshoot which is a fun. We did reserve in advance.
Awesome experience. The staff was super helpful and amazing. Mixed drinks were on point. Highly reccomend if you have never done axe throwing before.
This is a great axe throwing location with very friendly workers and good food and drink choices. Renting online is easy for booking times.
Highly recommend for a great group activity. The new added Alcohol and appetizers make the experience more fun.
Girl with the blue hair is extremely rude, rolled her eyes at home when i asked for drink, and then walked away? Literally so confused and kind of offended, i just went home
I thought I would be terrible, but it's actually pretty easy! We had such a great date night here, the food and drinks were excellent!
Fun time, definitely would do again!
Note you need to wear close-toed shoes, and there is (of course) no alcohol.
I just entered into blade and timber to throw some axes and the guy was extremely rude he was basically telling us to get out he said it was fully booked but i saw at least 3 lanes open i wasnt even aloud to go check out the facility. I'm a axe thrower from Canada I have been a coach for 7 years and I just wanted to say that I was disgusted with the service I would never treat my customers the way I was treated
