Boss Frog's Snorkel, Bike & Beach Rentals, Kihei HI

5 of us Visited store on 3-20-20 at 2: 45 to purchase shorts and shoes. Ever get the feeling you are wasting someone’s time, that they really don’t want you there or even care about store sales? Older Gentleman with hair in pony tail extremely unwelcoming and short with our party and with the women and son he was already working with at the counter. We ended up leaving checkout counter and putting three pairs of shoes back. Not the kind of person that should be alone in a store with customers.

Dude stonewalled us and killed the excitement we had for diving in Maui. Put us off diving with them.

Got great service from George when we rented our snorkel equipment. You have a 5 star employee.

This place really knows their stuff and they really go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience they know all the best places and their rental rates are super cheap the picture of everything you need and send you off to just the right Beach or snorkel location I bought a prescription mask from this location a few years ago and came back this year with a broken component which they replace for free which I did not expect. Ben was the guy who helped us and has always been excellent.

Rented quality snorkeling equipment, staff was very helpful and price for the week was reasonable.

My wife and I planned a 10 day trip to Maui. We booked flights, auto and hotel. But my wife was freaking out that we had nothing planned for the kids to do during our vacation. We were walking from our hotel and doing some shopping when a couple came out of Boss Frog's praising how "George" was absolutely amazing. We decided to go in and check and find this man named George. Well he was fantastic. He was patient with us and the kids as we did not really know what activities we wanted. He sat with us and about hour later we had a weeks worth of fun: Luaus, zip-lining, surfing. We got the works.and we were glad we did. I specifically liked George because he was laid back, not pushy and knowledgeable about the product. Thanks George

The team at Wailea Boss Frogs is awesome, especially Ben! He helped us with snorkel gear and with booking a Luau for our family. Our kids loved it and we loved it too! Ben was so nice and helpful, I would highly recommend anyone looking for adventure on Maui contact them!

Our first trip to Maui, Benjamin was quick and helpful. He outfitted us with our gear and gave us lots of tips on where to go and even outlined it on a map for us. We will be back again for sure. See you next year!

Great store with very helpful staff. We had an issue with some sunglasses we bought (our fault) and Benjamin helped us to resolve it to our great satisfaction. We also rented snorkeling gear the next day for our grandson and us. The gear was perfectly fitted and reasonably priced. I also appreciated Joe's information about our rental options and prices when we first got to the island. Our family used this location on prior visit and once again we were not disappointed. Will be back!

Benjamin was wonderful. Helpful, informative and friendly. Appreciated his expertise. The 3 hr snorkeling cruise couldn't have been more fun. The crew were very helpful. I wouldn't rent anywhere else but BossFrog

We had a great experience renting snorkeling equipment from Boss Frog's in Wailea! George was so helpful in providing us all the information we needed to use the equipment and find the best snorkeling spots on the island. We highly recommend this location for renting equipment!

My wife and I rented snorkel equipment from the Wailea location of Boss Frog's. We worked with George who was incredibly friendly and helpful. He got us equipped with the right gear, quickly, and gave us great information on where to see the best variety of fish. I would recommend renting here and working with George if you can.

Just walking by yesterday & thought I'd see if I could find a last minute deal for my 87 year old uncle on a helicopter tour. Mama Leah was an angel! She found a "seat filler tour for 1" for $103! I couldn't believe it! I actually started to cry because I knew my uncle (who used to be a pilot) would be so happy! Thank you Mama Leah!

We were there to see what kind of snorkel tours there were. We met and talked to Jeremiah. He was awesome! He explained the different boats, packages and prices. He booked us on a boat for the very next morning and he was such a pleasure to work with. We look forward to seeing him next year!

Rented snorkeling equipment. I was drawn in by the $1.95 a day snorkel sets but they pretty much said you need to spend the $8 for a decent set to rent per day. You can rent and return at any location

Greetings from Phoenix! Jeremiah was so cool and super knowledgeable. He hooked us up with the best Luau (even though it was rained out). There was no fuss with regards to partial refund either. He told us the best spots to visit and best travel time for our Road to Hana adventure! We will definitely utilize your services on our next visit to Maui! Mahalo

This was my wife and I first time in Maui and our first time snorkeling. Jeremiah was VERY helpful and informative. We had an issue with a mask and he took care of it right away without question allowing us to continue on our underwater adventure. We will definitely be renting here again! Mahalo.

Wish I could give zero stars. The guys that work there were completely useless and seemed annoyed to have to help our group. You would expect this kind of service from high school stoners but these were grown men. Sorry you hate your job, but how hard is it to not be rude to people who are paying you money? Avoid this place. 0/10 will never go here again not will i recommend this place to anyone. There are MUCH better options within walking distance.

Friendly service, snorkel rentals are good deal for weekly but aren't the greatest quality goggles and fins (durable, medium range since rentals). Some discounts on activities are good but you should research prices and activities in advance.

Rob was very helpful in getting us and our 3-year-old set up with gear and giving us info on the calmest beaches to snorkel. Great service!
