Coworking Space BoxJelly reviews
5 Really cool and bright space with a lot of different options for sitting - outside in the sun or shade, bar top or regular tables, and in the back low tables with tatami mats and seating facing Ala Moana Beach Park, etc. Free coffee for members and day pass workers, as well as a top notch ‘Try Coffee’ cafe with quality coffee that is also open to the public.
This is the best coworking place in Honolulu and it’s well managed by friendly and helpful staff. There are all sorts of options for creatives and remote workers and entrepreneurs to do and share their work, meet and network.
This place is an exclusive club for members only.
First off, we were only allowed to sit outside. The cashier told us the inside air-conditioned section for the paying members of the work/office area. So I got my coffee and sat outside. The purpose of going to a coffee shop is to log onto the wifi and browse the internet and get work done. I asked the cashier for the wifi and she said that wifi is only available for paying members. She said a daily rate was available which is $29.99. I don't think this place should even be opened to the public if the regular customers aren't even allowed to pick their seats and log onto the wifi. The seating is understandable but the wifi is necessary for customers who go to a coffee shop. I don't think it costs them any extra money to allow a few customers to join the wifi. But I guess they're doing fine so who am I to have an opinion.
Great people, great ambience, great location, great coffee. If you're looking for a coworking spot with friendly people and a fun vibe, definitely check out BoxJelly. I've been working here for months and love it.
Box Jelly is more than a beautiful indoor and outdoor space (stunningly lovely) to work in. The community of staff and members there are friendly and supportive. Box Jelly also hosts monthly events including poetry nights, art receptions, yoga, and more. Bonus: the space has Try Coffee, a gem of a coffee place, that is also deserving of high reviews.
