Buzz's Original Steak House, Kailua HI

Fantastic food and atmosphere. Food preparation and presentation are unique to the the pallet and to the eyes. Reservations are highly recommended. Service was good, but the bill was incorrect and waitresses were a little scattered on what drinks and dishes belonged to what table. The details matter most coming out of the kitchen, but it should reflect out on the floor. Definitely will be back for another date night. Mahalo.

All the staff were very kind and helpful. Good location close to the beach, and the food was incredible! We got to sit at the 'Presidents Table' that Michelle and Barack Obama sat at with their family when they visited in 2013:)

When it's gets hot on the outdoor patio, they also have a nice fine mist that they have going that adds a nice cooling effect, a nice touch.

Great food. We had the fish of the day and a New York steak. Nice ambience and excellent service.
We will be back soon.

Love this place so much. Whenever we have guests in town we take them here. Great food, great drinks, love the atmosphere.

Don't know if I got lucky but my NY Steak had to be done 3 times (and the third was not right either), service was amazing, friendly and helpful, even the manager came to apologize for the mistake and tried to make it right but there was probably a problem in the kitchen. So I ended up eating 3 baked potatoes.
My family (party of 5) got their food right and they said all was delicious.
The manager ended up taking the steak out of the bill.
Maybe I will given it another try next time.

Went there after day at the beach. Confusing menu if no reservations, staff wasn't friendly but worse the food (ribeye, teriyaki chicken, beef skewers) were disappointing in portion size and quality considering the price (although I know a premium for location). Dinner for 6 cost $350 and best part was the shrimp cocktail.

Plenty of parking at the park across the street. Beautiful scenery for outdoor seating. Excellent service. Excellent food. Beef sticks were delicious. As well as all other pupus! Steak was ok. The drink Deez Nuts was delicious:) Mai thai was really strong, a lil' too strong for my liking! Plenty of awesome cocktails to choose from though. I see why it is called Buzz's. Lol.

Really enjoyed everything about our lunch here. Good food, excellent drinks, nice atmosphere, and good value.

This place was amazing! Food was delicious, staff was friendly and it was super quick on getting us our food! After a full day of laying around on the beach, this is a great place to for lunch and/or dinner!

Always packed at dinner, make reservations early. Had apps and beers on the patio, get the meat skewers. All beers are in cans (not my favorite). Get the local beers.

Great dinner with friends. Love the food and friendly service. It is nice that they take reservations, many restaurants don't. Beat the crowds I you can, this place gets busy.

The restaurant is booked out quite a ways for "full menu" dining.but you can get drinks and a limited menu on the patio w/o a reservation. It has a good vibe and a good wait staff. The teriyaki beef sticks are pretty good and so are the spring Rolla. Careful though.you'll run a $100 tab quickly. Directly across the street from Kailua Beach state park.

This place is our favorite place to eat of anywhere we have eaten on Maui and Oahu. They are very friendly, share the local flare of the young, always great food and the tree covered patio makes for a wonderful experience.

Appetizers were amazing, service was nice. But very disappointed with schedule. Came in at 3, and was not able to order anything but drinks and appetizers. Notified that we could be put on the wait-list at 430. Came back at 430 and than lady went to the back, returned and was denied to be put on the list. We waited outside from 430 to 6; and the restaurant was not close to being 50% capacity. I refuse to ever come back. Very unfortunate for myself and my guest.

Terrible service. The worst mai tai I had on the island thus far. We didn’t even get the chance to order food as service was so slow even tho not busy. This is so sad bc the location is great, this place have so much potential but needs better management.

Absolutely love this place! The have a lychee martini that’s to die for and their calamari steak and sashimi is incredible. The service is great and we will always continue to have this on the top of our list to bring family and friends to.
