City Mill - Ewa Beach

It's frustrating when you are trying to look for an item online and you type it in the search box and it shows you everything else and NOT what you are looking for ‍️‍️

I went in for one thing, and came out with something else I needed. The "advisors" there are very helpful, and personable. Mahalo!

Jason at the Ewa Beach location was very helpful! I called to verify if they had the specific part (fluorescent lampholder) I was looking for to avoid wasting time. When I called, I asked for the lighting dept. Jason verbally confirmed they carried it and then voluntarily went in person to ensure it was in stock. He told me which isle I could find it (10B). When arrived minutes later, the isle was overwhelming with 50+ little drawers filled with nuts, bolts and other misc.stuff. I walked myself over to the lighting section where I found Jason and explained I was the one who had just called and couldn't find it. He walked me back there and pulled out the drawer and showed me the variety they had. He even filled out a little baggie for me. This was a quick and easy experience. I'm so glad I didn't have to drive out of Ewa for a $3.50 part.

This place is pretty nice. First time going in and found all the employees I talked with very helpful and nice. This place is really convenient rather then driving 15 minutes to HD. If it ain't major I'll be heading here for most things!

Great local hardware store. I can usually find what I am looking for to do projects and repairs around the house.

This City Mill has easy parking even for big trucks and Safeway gas is right there. Best and cheapest gas on Oahu most of the time.

I like to acknowledge one of your employee Michael, in Ewa Beach branch who is very helpful in helping me brought my purchased items to my car. It’s a big pleasure to see good employee like him. I personally think he is one big asset to City Mill.

Lots of small stuff for your projects super convient to where I live and they make keys will definitely go back!

It's always a great idea to stop by City Mill because they have everything you need and everyone is friendly and helpful. Love the convenient location and that they have reserved the closest stalls for pick-ups (and, informally, kupuna).

Very helpful people. Knows their paint product very well, as well as, what painting supplies are needed.

Sell propane. Looking for one of those small water dishes for under pots. Only one could find was imported from italy. Seemed excessive.

This home improvement store has some stuff that the big box stores don't carry! Kind of an island feel to it. I like shopping here.

My first visit to this City Mill location. The store is much larger than the Waianae location. I walked in the store and within two minute found an employee to ask where I could find an item-then the employee offered to take me over to the department where the item was located. I asked the employee in the garden shop where an item was and it was in the store. The employee gave me the isle and location as to where the item could be. All employees were extremely friendly and helpful.

It's good to have options of hardware stores and I have visited most of them. Nothing bad about any of them. Just wanted to put a plug in for City Mill as it is a locally owned company with a chain of stores here in the islands.
And you never know what you might need when it comes to fixing; for example, I had no idea that if you've never changed a window screen before, they actually have that service available! Reasonably priced too. Although, if you're pressed for time, you might wanna consider learning how to do it yourself or call on a friend to help you lol! The wait time is approximately 2-3 weeks. Possibly because of the virus? And no supplies? I didn"t any demand answers hehe.
They were backed up longer than that according to the staff there who were super helpful! I wish I could remember their names. It was an elderly gentleman who was mentoring a newer employee. By the way, you rarely get to see that in action! I kept telling the young man how lucky he was to have someone take the time to train him.
So here's a 5 star rating to City Mill. Support local businesses too! Buy Hawaii!

Store was well stocked and had what I was looking for. Customer service is great. Well come back again.

Great neighborhood hardware store. I just wish they had longer hours so I wouldn't have to run to home Depot when they're closed past 5: 00 p.m.
