Coconut's Fish Cafe, Kihei HI

Delicious fish tacos and fries. The tacos come LOADED so if you're not that hungry, consider sharing. It can be messy to eat so expect to use a fork or maybe ask for extra tortillas. Quick and casual dinner spot that was so good.

Food was delicious. My wife tried the fish tacos and I had the taco mountain. I highly recommend this place.

They add mango salsa on tacos

Avoid. Extremely poor service. Maybe because they think we’re just tourists and they don’t have to worry about continuing business from us. We ordered out. Pickup time was mis-communicated to us. Email specified a time that was half an hour later than when they had the food ready. So, when we picked up, the food was cold. The manager who was also the one handling the pickup tonight just shrugged and simply suggested that it’s our fault. “Your food is still warm. ” That’s all she said, and not even an apology which, to us, was the only thing that was needed. We had good experience in the past so this might be an issue specific to this manager, unfortunately.

One of our favorite visits when we get here. Fish tacos are great. 2 is plenty and filling.

We always come back for the food. The staff is friendly and patient for deli style ordering. But its the fish tacos that keep us coming back!

Had some real good fish and chips here for lunch. The food was very tasty. Ordering at the entrance, friendly staff. Can recommend.

Love the surfboard tables, with plenty of covered outdoor seating! Food is always delicious. We make sure way here everytime we visit Kihei. My husband loves the coconut shrimp, and I live the deep fried mahi-mahi. Both Delicious with crispy "chips" (french fries).

Huge portions, but lacked any flavor. Got their "famous" fish tacos, fish taco salad, seafood chowder and coconut shrimp. Coconut shrimp was the only thing that had flavor, only because of the dipping sauce. Couldn't finish the chowder or fish taco salad because it was so bland.

My family had a great time here. Staff was great. They gave us time to organize out giant crew before ordering. They told us time expectation for waiting for drinks and food that where spot on. The food was great. Fish tacos were awesome. Huge too, you can barely fold them to eat it. We tried ever type of fish and chips. Everything was great. The surf board table tops were fun.

BEST Fish Tacos on Maui.and they are often voted the best as well. My wife picks up her order of fish tacos several times per week. ALWAYS great and her favorite meal.

Fantastic food. Had the blackened seared Ahi sandwich, cooked perfect and huge portion. Calamari and Coconut shrimp are also great.

Amazing food served piping hot. Clean, tidy, well stocked condiment cart. Fun music, and surfboard tables. Highly recommend! 5 stars.

Overrated!
The chowder was very salty and very reheated hot; it is difficult to rate it more than a star. Since it was the worst that i had. The calamari were still dripping oil and so thin that you couldn't taste the meat. The famous fish taco 1/2 of the size of a small aperitizer plate. The fries were good.
