Da Fish Shack, Hana HI

Meh. Rude guy taking orders and I’m pretty sure the fish and shrimp were out of a Costco box. Crispy fish sandwich looked great but was very plain. Asked for salt and was pointed to a solidified chunk in a broken grinder. Coconut shrimp were definitely caught by the Gordon’s Fisherman. Mahi might have been fresh and was okay. Wish we would’ve packed a lunch because this was the most disappointing food and service we’ve had so far on this island.

Really good fish meals. Definitely worth stopping by if you can make it before they close. Just make sure you don't order to similar meals like we did when we ordered the seared fish and the mixed plate.

Amazing! Food truck on the road to Hana…had crispy calamari and the husband had a crispy fish sandwich…noticed after we were eating that they erased the calamari off of the “specials” menu, so I guess it just depends on what they catch! Both were delicious.

Excellent place in Hana. Got the Cajun fish sandwich and it was amazing. Fish and chips were good but the burger was better.

Had a special which was seared ono, coconut shrimp, rice and green beans. Good servicing size and very delicious!

Great food in a little food truck lot. Everything was super fresh. The fish tacos are an absolute must.

Unfortunately, our experience was clouded by poor customer service and mediocre food quality. The owner openly mocked other customers and for that reason alone, we would not return.

Hands down favorite food truck of our trip. The ahi poke bowl is absolutely perfect and the fish and chips are tasty too. We will most definitely go back.

Amazing Fish Burgers! A must stop if you are in the area

Da Fish Shack served me the best fish & chips meal I’ve ever had—and I’ve had a lot of fish & chips in my life! Also, excellent customer service. The gentleman taking customer orders was professional and kind. I will absolutely be back the next time I visit Maui. Thank you, Da Fish Shack!

Yummy lunch! Cajun mahi burger with fries and fried white fish and fries. We rejected the picnic tables and bench. We ate in our car at the nearby beach.

Shrimp tacos were crispy and well seasoned. Chips were a bit stale unfortunately. We wanted to try the fish and chips but they were sold out.

Delicious fresh fish fillet and lots of it on the fish burger. Poke bowl also plentiful and fresh.
