Great Ohana (team) to work with. Everyone there made us feel welcomed and comfortable. They assist in beverages even though we were not "their" client. Chelsey helped the lot tech with the prep of my vehicle to expedite the delivery. Excellent buying experience all around.

Corvette owners beware!
De Luz CHEVROLET does NOT service Corvettes, per my call to their service department 2/8/23.

The people working in the service department do an EXCELLENT job! Very friendly, very knowledgeable, helpful, and efficient (this coming from someone who doesn't know anyone there). I've been to other dealer service centers, and trust me, it isn't like this everywhere. As far as the vehicle service itself, it isn't cheap by any means, BUT if you want a quality job that is done right, giving you major piece of mind, this is the place! Personally, it's a very fair value and totally worth the additional expense.
The only downside in the entire process is getting an actual appointment. They are SO busy, it's often three weeks or more before there is availability. Other than that, flawless!

The communication throughout my entire experience was very poor. I am very frustrated with this experience overall and I would not recommend this dealership to anyone

My wife took our 2018 Colorado in for a transmission issue. She stated that Berlinda was the most helpful person to deal with. When the work was completed, Berlinda left me a phone message on the work that was done. I was in Idaho at our home there and appreciate that the Service Tech completed the repairs per Chevrolet Service Bulletin. The transmission issue was no longer present immediately after my wife picked up our truck.

Berlinda and her team really took care of me. They even ordered me a rental car so I can get to work. I thought I was gonna be at the dealership for a long time so I brought my laptop so I could work. But between dropping off my vehicle and the rental to get there, I was back on the road in less than 15 minutes! Berlinda kept me well informed with what they were going to do with my vehicle, how long it might take, and the costs based on different outcomes. This teams customer service is above and beyond. I feel comfortable going there any time and recommending them! Mahalo!

It took 4 attempts and several days before De Luz responded with information about a specific car I was interested in. This was via online contact. In person would be faster if you are in Hilo (I'm not).

My wife took our 2021 Acadia for REGULAR SCHEDULED service on Thursday. After being there for almost 5 HOURS she got home. The service department did NOTHING, (maybe an oil change) but that's questionable too, they didn't visually check the AIR FILTER, WINDSHIELD WASHER FLUID. It was really easy to tell that we were lied to because, the car was not as clean as we normally keep it, and there was ZERO hand prints on the WHEELS, OIL FILL CAP, AIR CLEANER COVER, the TIRE PRESSURE was not checked. This is ALL crystal clear evidence that they did NOTHING but reset the computer. This service is part of our warranty and it not being done can have serious ramifications. Juan, the owner will hear about this, I should also add, the RESORT I work for just purchased a new truck from them. I'm worried about the warranty service for this truck as well.
My deepest apologies to Juan and the staff De Luz Chevrolet. I spoke with Juan today and should have done that first. After seeing still shot of a video camera at the shop, I can see that the service was, INFACT done on my wife's, cudos to the staff, and again my sincerest apologies to the dealer, and all that read my post from 12/11/22.

Great customer service! Easy drive up; greeted; waiting in line was quick; reviewed service concerns; est.price shared; made certain contact # was on record; shuttle took me to Hertz; rental car was ready for pick up; received a text that my car was ready; Service department attended to the concern; picked up my car and drop of rental was done at Toyota; payment for repair and rental was also done at Toyota.

Person driving shuttle that day was awesome in comparison with my experiences with some of the people driving shuttle before. I can't remember his name for some reason but this was 12/23/22. It really helped to change the day for me.

Overall, it was a good experience. My wife had other things to do so I had to wait at the dealership. It took 4+ hours to get the service done. Other than that, everyone from the front desk staff to the service crew were friendly and helpful.
