American Restaurant Denny's reviews
12 Good choice if you are looking for slightly more affordable breakfast.
This diner plays classic 50s 60s music, like Bobby Darin Brenda Lee, the Drifters, etc. - it really complements the diner vibe. All the diners I have been to do not play vintage music but this place does. Love that!
Interior is well-kept and clean, and portions are good. Walkable from Waikiki Beach. Minimal parking.
Another delicious 55+ breakfast down the hatch! Great service from a cheerful server. Food cooked perfectly, even the gluten-free English muffin.
Great place to grab a quick bite on the way to or from the beach. Decent prices and open early and late.
Grandson had 3 chocolate chip pancakes, 2 strips of bacon, small bowl of grapes and strawberry banana smoothie from the Keiki menu for $9. A great price for Waikiki. I had strawberry pancake puppies with melted white chocolate which were awesome! Morning music was 50's and 60's which put me in a good mood. Grandson says we must come back here.
Thanks to Alex, we had a very meaningful time. You can eat American food at a cheaper price than other restaurants around you. It's not crowded so you can have a relaxing time. It's located at the edge of downtown Waikiki, so it's a little difficult to access, but we recommend it.
Dara and Auntie Liza were so welcoming and sweet. Great service. The food was great! So sweet to my children.
Came all the way to Hawaii and had lunch at Dennys. The wife and I enjoy familiarity and not culinary surprises. Knowing what we were getting made perfect sense to us. Enjoyed the food s we knew we would.
Chris is the busy manager. Chris covers, works in the kitchen as well. Servers have been nice to me/us. Fast, waters & coffees kept full. Orders seem accurate, nothing to difficult- bacon, eggs, toast, pancakes, etc
Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Scrambled eggs were fluffy real eggs, not powdered eggs. Pricing was very reasonable.
Service was slow and brought the wrong drinks. They are very understaffed the Service wasn't good. The server was nice
I got the 55+2 egg omelet. It was heavy and flat. Toast had a dime size area of butter on each slice so it was dry.
Our waiter was clearly having a bad night, rude service as soon as i walked in and after i finished my meal and tipped a generous amount, they made a rude remark about how it wasn’t enough money for them.i could have simply tipped nothing after how terrible the service was here, but instead i’ll make sure to never bring my celebrity friends here again.hawaii has so much more to offer than this low level & gloomy energy “diner”. 0/5 stars if i could
