Discount Wheel and Tire - Honolulu

I NEVER review places online because no one has ever made me feel as if a review is needed. It’s usually just normal services. But Discount Tire and Wheel has made my extremely stressful day 100x less stressful and I will recommend them to everyone. I had a slow leak in my tire due to a screw and everyone i called was going to take all day and possibly not get to it, and charge for a tire repair. Discount Wheel and Tire tho, got me right in, repaired it in less than 20 minutes and didn’t charge for the patch. They don’t ever charge for patches. I will always use them for my tires from now on. I will only buy tires from them. They just got a permanent customer for being affordable and fast. Thank you!

Went to two service stations who refused to fix a slow leak because it was a "Tesla. " So I made an appointment with the Tesla dealer who wanted $538 to plug the tire. Discount Wheel and Tire fixed the flat in 10 minutes and charged me nothing. I also needed the two rear tires replaced. They didn't have the specific tires I wanted but told me I could order them from "Tire Rack" and bring them in for installation. Very friendly, relaxed, and accomodating. Can't see any reason why I'd go anywhere else.

Got the tires quickly and got a good price. But they had to break my lock nut and they didn’t replace it with anything. Maybe it’s just me but id think a tire shop might have a couple of spare lugs around they could throw on? But to leave it without anything is a little, dangerous?

Manager Josh & his team are AWESOME! Customer service when calling SUCKS! I've called several times no one has ever return my call! No so professional. Other then service at the facilty is GREAT!

Awesome customer service. Had me in and out in 5 minutes for my tire repair. I had taken this same tire to a local competitor where they refused to patch it and insisted that I needed a new tire. The Discount tire team said that was ridiculous and they could repair it with no problem. Highly recommend this honest team of technicians.

Recently purchased a truck and needed new tires but didn't have a lot of time to get in and out of the shop. They were able to get me in and out within an hr.

Made an appointment for 8AM, the location has no record of my appointment, even though I had my printout as proof. They didn't have the tires I placed my appointment for over 2 weeks ago, and not enough oil to do my requested oil change. Its a tire and oil company? Their call center was blamed for not saving my appointment. No attempt to contact the call center was made. I picked this company because they are family owned and I wanted my business to go to the local community. Possibly being able to have the tires I requested around 12-1PM was not feasible for my schedule, which is why I booked for 8AM. No attempt to offer me in stock tires and honor my original order was made. I felt little to no Aloha from this establishment.

They service not good. Time open 8am but they no more employees work there only 1 people working for 8: 30am I’m get line 4th people. I moved out after 1 hour because not anyone service

Quick, friendly, super helpful. They'll take care of whatever your wheel needs. Highly recommended and would definitely go to for all my wheel needs.

Hands down the best tire shop! I had a screw in my tire and the guys took care of me within minutes of walking in. Made my day so much better and they had the best customer service.

UPDATE:
BOTTOM LINE, THE CALL CENTER CAN REALLY SCREW THINGS UP FOR THIS SHOP! THE EMPLOYEES THERE WERE VERY NICE AND HELPFUL. THE CALL CENTER NEEDS TO IMPROVE THEIR SERVICE AND WHAT THEY TELL CUSTOMERS. I LOST MONEY BECAUSE OF THE CALL CENTER. NOT the actual shop! Its imperative I specify this since the shop is unfortunately being represented by idiotic people at the call center.
They were exceptionally kind enough to compensate for the call center's wrongdoing, something that wasn't even the shop's fault!

After calling to get my tires installed, they assured me I could come right in and get it done (no wait)
Well, I'm here and was informed there would be a minimum wait of 2 HOURS! It took 45 minutes to get here, my friend had to take time off work to bring my tires here (since Discount Wheel didn't have them nor could they order them) and now I'll be missing at least 4 hours of work today with the drive to/from, wait, and actual service. I'm literally losing more money than it costs to have my tires installed!
All the call center had to do was tell me there might be a wait, that way I would've come a different day. I'm so furious with the call center (NOT the actual shop) while watching my check get smaller by the minute!

. THE SHOP NEEDS TO DROP THE CALL CENTER (IF POSSIBLE), TO PREVENT THESE CARELESS MISLEADING, 'MISTAKES' THAT WAY IT WOULD ONLY BE A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE.

Even given the incredible frustration today due to the call center, I'd STILL DEFINITELY COME BACK! I'd just need to figure out how to confirm with the shop that the call center knows what the heck they're telling custoners PRIOR to going all the way out there. The long drive is worth it!
