Doctors of Waikiki, Honolulu HI

All Japanese people please be careful. I received medical treatment using insurance included with my credit card, but I have not received any insurance application documents. Even if I inquire by email, I receive no reply.

I'm not sure if I can use Gmail even though I'm in a hospital. I was told that the necessary insurance documents would be mailed to me in about three weeks, but three months later, they still haven't arrived. I contacted them several times by email in English, but I haven't received any reply.

The worst attention I received in my life, they did not comply with the Hippocratic oath at any time. The doctor diagnosed me with heel spurs, he even showed me the x-ray telling me "look what I was telling you" and I didn't see anything, that person really believed that I was so ignorant that I wasn't going to look up what it was on the internet, which immediately caught my attention to the x-ray that he showed me, since nothing since wrong there it looked like a perfect foot. On top of the wrong diagnosis he immediately told me to take ibuprofen and rest and send me home even when I told him that I had come from resting and the pain persisted, in conclusion he was evident that he had not intention of helping me at all, so, when I noticed everything strange I asked for the written diagnosis and the doctor sent the poor nurse (who had nothing to do with the doctor's lack of professionalism) with a sticker with that written on it and I said no, I ask again for the written diagnosis and they also refused to give it to me until I said I'm not leaving here until you give it to me and they got nervous (because they knew deep down what they were doing) at that moment he starts talking about other possibilities (after send me to my home without any solution and also a wrong diagnosis), denying everything he told me and they were even denying me the x-ray image of the foot since it was evident in that image that I didn't have the heel spurs that he was super assured that I had. The truth is very sad because if you feel bad you are going to go to the professional to help you, I was not asking for anything for free because I have my medical insurance and money to pay for everything that is necessary, it is a profession that I have a lot of respect because I grew up with a doctor but obviously this Doctor ethics disappointed me, the worst thing is the audacity to make me look like the problematic person when I was super decent asking for everything after I saw all of that when I am a victim of the discrimination that I experienced in that place, it will be difficult for me to speak English but I am not ignorant and of course a better person with more ethics.

You make advance payments and pay directly on site. The doctor and lab cost me about $470. The invoice comes by post or email. Easy to process and quick help. Thanks!

Dr. Carlo Fernandez was amazing. He was the warmest, friendliest doctor my wife and I have ever met. He was so empathetic and truly cared. What a wonderful man! And medically, he took outstanding care of us too.

The staff were also great, we were checked in quickly and professionally, and there were no complications or delays.

Dr. Marina Nogues at the Dictors of Waikiki urgent care was the absolute best doctor i have ever seen. I have gone to so many urgent cares and they spend 20 seconds with you and can be rough to your injuries. I had a bad coral cut on my foot and she was so careful and kind and sweet and answered our million questions. I was so scared to go because they would touch my cut and she was so gentle and attentive and kind and supportive - would literally fly back to go to her!

We had to take our five year old here on a Sunday am and the staff and Doctor/nurses were awesome. I’ve been to a ton of urgent cares and never once have I had a doctor call us after our appointment to follow up to make sure our sick child was ok. Dr Carlos was amazing and I highly recommend this place. Traveling with a sick kiddo is never fun and we are so thankful we came here.

The triage and doctor were the best for helping my mum and I. We got Covid while in Hawaii and they fully analysed is and made sure the meds were available for us to recover. The doctor was very thorough and compassionate. Very clean facilities and efficiently planned and operated. Luckily it was in our hotel so it was the default choice.it was the BEST choice for our needs. Thank you!

Great people at a convenient and nice location. The staff is very capable and caring. The lady at check-in was helpful, professional and focused on getting people signed in, even while dealing with a difficult customer in the lobby. Very attentive medical staff who quickly got me the help I needed.

These guys were fantastic. One of the most friendliest dr surgeries I’ve ever visited. From my enquiry phone call, to reception, the nurse and dr who treated me. Their service was second to none. There was a bit of a wait but I was updated regularly on the status and what was happening. My options for treatment were clearly explained and I was given plenty of space and time to understand and decide what I wanted to do. Highly recommend.

If I could post zero stars I would! Front Desk was rude and ignorant. Said they didn't take my insurance and didn't have to because they claimed to be a private office. Told me I had to pay $424 upfront to be seen and then to fight it out with my insurance. Total scam! I did look online at the insurances accepted, but because it was "out of state" with a major carrier, they refused to go through the process of verifying coverage and submitting the bill to the insurance company. Again TOTAL SCAM!

Walked in with my with my wife at 9: 30AM on a Wednesday. The facility was well maintained and clean. After filling out the necessary paperwork, we waited only 10 minutes to see a doctor. My wife told me they were thorough with their exam and diagnosis. We were out within 30 minutes to enjoy the rest of our vacation. Thank you Doctors of Waikiki.

Located in the Sheraton Hotel. Very helpful and wait wasn't overly long. Would recommend for anyone who needs urgent care while on vacation.

I wouldn't recommend them fist of all trying calling phone on ringing and second the front desk don't know what they doing saying to call back next month to see the doctor is new and see if they will except HMSA Quest I know they are a Urgent care but they need to training they staff of not to tell new patients that.
Even all the phones call they should train there other staff that they don't know what they doing shame full to a Kapuna.

IMPORTANT: Doctors of Waikiki is located *inside* the Sheraton hotel. Walk into the lobby and the office is straight ahead on the right-hand side.

This place is wonderful. I cut my foot one night while on vacation and fortunately, Doctors of Waikiki was open. The wait was short and they accepted my insurance. The nurse who cleaned the sand out of the cut and the doctor who bandaged it (Dr. T) were both so incredibly nice. Thank you, Doctors of Waikiki, for your help! I'm so grateful to you!

Good service, but make sure to get explicit explanation of their billing and how your insurance interacts with their office so that you do not get charged over $1,000 for coming in and asking for a COVID test.

I saw Dr. Sam Chen and he used to work at Straub. He is still doing surgeries there but his office is located here now.
This is my 3rd visit here.
If you need any medical in waikiki, I highly recommend this facility.

Mid vacation, my daughter got sick. Found them conviently located at the Sheraton hotel not to far from Beachcomber. Walking distance. The facility was clean, front desk was super nice and her Dr was very sweet and thorough. Ran Flu test and she was positive. Ordered medication through Long pharmacy which was walkable distance. Highly recommend if you need to visit.

Recently relocated to the island and was hit with a bad sore throat and upper respiratory infection. I went to the Doctors of Waikiki to get checked up. This is a great urgent care with extremely professional staff. It’s located on the first floor of the Sheraton Princess in Waikiki. The waiting area is clean and the front desk staff were very friendly. I waited 5 minutes before being called in. The NP was courteous and polite and then I met Dr. T. He was awesome—very knowledgeable and personable and listened to my concerns. Got a strep and Covid test completed and results came back within minutes. I had great experience at this urgent care. Highly recommended for anyone who is in the area needing to see a doctor.
