Amazing food! Tried three different dishes and all incredible. Grabbed the arroz con leche as well and it was so delicious. Very impressive food, presentation and lovely, friendly service. Thank you!

We love to eat local and this place is delicious! We have eaten there 3 times and will be back again and again.

Quality argentinian food. Well served sandwiches, really appreciate the baguette bread and good quality meat.

The food is top-notch, and the atmosphere in the food truck garden is so chill. Go with friends and play cornhole or chill in the garden - or come with kids and let them play with the toy kitchen and run around. We love this spot! (And definitely order sandwiches AND the empanadas).

Best food in Kihei! The Argento was the best thing I’ve eaten in Kihei. The salid was great too!

Shut up! This is sooo good. The salad that is served with the sandwich (non fry option) is fresh and incredible. The sandwich smacked my face with flavor. This is the place. Period.

The Gaucho came highly recommended by the staff and it did not disappoint! Absolutely delicious!

A-Maze-Ing french fries!
I had to ask, but they don't divulge their secret. He WOULD tell me that they make them in house and it takes them 3 days.

If you are any kind of fry fan, you must try these. No coating. Light and crispy outside. Smooth and fluffy inside. Heavily salted, the way I like it, but it might be a little much for some.

Debating going back before we leave Maui.

My cousin had the steak sandwich and he said it was "ABSOLUTELY" worth the price.

My wife loved the chorizo "had a kick, but not too salty like some others. "

Please ask whoever is in charge of the food truck common area to implement some kind of fly deterrent strategy.

We stumbled upon El Carrito while exploring the South Maui Gardens and it did not disappoint! Authentic Argentine fare in Maui? Who could resist! We got the Azteca and the Gaucho sandwiches, which came with a fresh and flavorful side salad. We also ordered the papas fritas and the arroz con leche for dessert. The service was friendly and the food was excellent. 10/10!

Come eat here, you will absolutely love it! I had the special of the day, which was a skirt steak with chimichurri and grilled vegetables. It was perfectly done and marinated. Their chimichurri is excellent.

I also had the ginger beer they sell and liked it a lot.

Next time Im there, I'll get the milanesa sandwich? It looks delicious

Literally the best steak I've ever ate. I typically share a steak with my partner and once I tasted this one I instantly regretted only getting one meal. The employees here are extremely friendly with amazing food.

Great spot for some delicious empanadas and Ginger Beer (NA so more like ginger soda). The veggie empanada was wonderful though just a bit under done as some veggies were cold but didn’t take away from the taste one bit. Steak one was even better and the dough was fantastic. Finally that ginger beverage was the PERFECT thing after our flight in to settle the stomach. Highly recommend this spot and to try the multiple other trucks in the courtyard.

We just kept going back, that’s how good!
We tried the choripán porteño, the homemade Argentine sausage and every one of the ingredients were delicious. The fries…how do they make such perfect fries? The empanadas are everything I was expecting and more, perfectly cooked and made dough, meat, corn or veggies they were all amazing. The lomito sandwich was BEYOND.ham and cheese with a fried egg, pretty epic!

Don’t sleep on the arroz con leche dessert…mouth watering deliciousness at El Carrito daily

Highly recommend! Delicious Milanese sandwich and choripan sandwich! We also tried a steak empanada too-amazing.

May have been the best sandwich I have ever eaten. I would have posted a picture but I ate it. The steak sandwich is to die for.

They make great sandwiches. The staff are friendly the food it’s good.
Top spot to eat in Kihei

Do yourself a favour and don't stop at the trash touristy restaurants, and instead stop here. If you like bold food and flavours this is a must stop. Plus the whole seating area is great for hangouts. All the Empanadas and Sandwiches are knock outs.

Very good spot! The sandwiches are seriously delicious and has homemade Argentinian sausages which were yum. If you’re a fan of sausage come here. Placed in a toasted bun with different options for “toppings”. We got the argento and norteno which were both great! Also got the empanadas which were okay, wasn’t a big fan but the sandwich portion size is definitely filling

We come to Maui each year and this year we were very disappointed in our favorite restaurants. We stumbled upon the El Carrito and the other food trucks. We were beyond happy with the food and amazing customer service. Will be recommending to all of our friends who travel here!
