Enchanted Lake Kim Chee Restaurant, Kailua HI

Fantastic food, excellent service, and a great vegetable bar. Staff was incredibly accommodating.

This is not your average Korean plate lunch. At all. This is bona fide gourmet food, prepared by a legit chef.
I am so thankful that this wonderful local gem has survived the pandemic!
The husband and wife team (he cooks, she runs things) dedicate their whole lives to the quality of this food, and it shows. I cannot identify what it is, exactly, that makes every part of this just a notch above every other restaurant, but it is. The flavors are more flavorful. The textures are perfect. If you dine in, the presentation is wow.
There are more vegetarian options, like tofu katsu and tofu jun, than at other places, too. I appreciate that.

Would've posted a picture but I ate the food too fast! Back home in Toronto we have plenty Korean restaurants but this is definitely one of the best I've had.

First and foremost the couple who owns the store are absolutely wonderful and make the dining experience that much better!

My family and I ordered a bunch of different lunch combinations and each choice was better than the next. Can't go wrong with the fried mandoo or any of the katsu or bbq meats. Would literally swim across the Pacific with an anchor tied to my foot to eat here again!

Ps eat ALL of the vegetable side dishes. My socks were blown so high into the sky I can't even find them.

We had a wonderful takeout meal from the Enchanted Lake Kim Chee Restaurant. The fried man doo was a favorite of all 3 of us.

Excellent food. Authentic Korean style cooking. Order for take out now. Lunch specials. Kim chee spicy and not salty. Love the owners! So friendly!

Combo plate of BBQ beef, BBQ chicken, and meat jun with a fried mandu. Chicken was very tender, beef was well flavored, and generous sides. Pickled cabbage has vinegar flavor, which is new for me. I enjoyed this meal. All containers were well packed without any leaks. I really appreciate that she paid attention to serve them!

Delicious Korean BBQ in huge portions. Very friendly staff. Light and flaky tempura, flavorful kim chee, delicious bbq chicken.

They have the best Kim chee in Kailua! I love the lunch buffet special, such a great deal!

Absolutely THE best food and service! I have been coming here for as long as this place has been open (over 20+ years) and the quality and cleanliness of the food and restaurant has never gone down.
